Danielle is great! So is her team. We had the best meeting with her about my wedding in May. I can’t wait! She was so helpful with helping get the best deals and setup for the amount of people I’m having. Great customer service. Sent me a follow up email right on the spot and then sent me an email a few months reminding me about the upcoming event. I called her to confirm everything and she answered and we discussed our plans. She always works with me and the times I have available. I understand some people may have had a bad experience but so far Oregon Coast Event Rentals has been 5 stars in my book.

Don’t be fooled by this response from the owner it seems polite and apologetic but when I posted this identical review on their Facebook page I got a response that was excusatory and reflected blame back on me! This company is a joke and these people have NO idea what they’re doing. If you’re planning a wedding, trust me it will save you a TON of stress to go with another company.

We had a similar bad experience with Danielle during our 10 months of planning our wedding. We reserved a small indoor dance floor and 44 white resin chairs for our outdoor beach wedding. No real problems until we tried to add a little extra room to our dance floor and a few more chairs to seat more guests. That turned out to be a cluster, and she way overcharged us, so we went back to our original dance floor idea. Fast forward to about 2 weeks before our wedding held 8÷10÷14 in Lincoln City, OR, I tried to contact Danielle about the balance of our rentals being due 7÷26÷14(in hindsight I would NEVER pay the balance due before the performance because it was not ok). I emailed her, my husband emailed her, he called and left a voicemail. Finally on 7÷29÷14 I emailed her saying I was pretty concerned that she was going to flake out on our event since she couldn’t return calls or emails. She finally emailed back and assured us that everything would be fine. Day before our wedding I get a call from who I assume was Danielle’s husband(after the time the chairs and floor were to be delivered) asking what type of chairs we had reserved, and I told him, but he said«ohhh well let me look at my inventory and see what we have». I had reserved these chairs in OCTOBER! The guy calls me back 10 minutes later saying they didn’t have the chairs, and I told him I didn’t want the plain plastic chairs as I had aisle decorations for the resin chairs and had paid for those and they agreed to deliver. The morning of my wedding my husband called and luckily they showed up at 9:30am before our 1:00 ceremony. Original delivery time was day before at 4:00pm. My cousin and my good friend luckily were able to set up everything for us, including raking the sand and setting up chairs and our aisle décor since they delivered everything the morning of and I and my husband were not able to set up as we planned. I never have got an apology from Danielle to the confusion or the poor service. I would NOT do business with them again.

Beautiful set up. Danielle and her crew do an amazing job of providing exactly what is needed to make things perfect. She went above and beyond to ensure the event went off with out a hitch, and I would recommend her to anyone planning their event on the Oregon Coast.

New Owner! Danielle has taken over the business from the Sue reviewed above and is totally the opposite of that description. Our son was married on Agate Beach Newport Sept 1st2013 and the reception for 125 was in our backyard under her tent. They set up chairs on the beach, provided a temp bridge over the creek built well enough for octogenarians, swept the sand and built an arch. Danielle’s crew were friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and flexible. When we asked for additional items Danielle responded that her goal was for the kids to have a perfect day and she put in the extra time and effort to make that happen. OCER worked well with LaMasion our caterer, and came out to help with the heaters when called during the event. I gave OCER4 stars because her tents and heaters are not new, but I will recommend them to any locals that ask!

Sue the owner of Oregon Coast Rentals is not the person to contact for any rentals with her company. She is rude, not accommodating and she has no idea on how to deliver customer service. Sue has made it clear that she has no interest in bringing in new business. She is difficult to contact and pushes people into contracts that are not true to the situation at hand. True — their business does have great products — however I spent 30 days and over 40 emails discussing an arrangement that was clearly very simple and easy to understand — a) I would rent the tent and be liable for the tent for one day and the next day another person would be liable and rent the tent. b) I would have rented it solely for the weekend however she pushed us into keeping us locked into a contract(by naming a policy last minute) that stated I alone would be liable for the tent over the entire weekend knowing very well that there were two MORE events that would be using the tent — how was this fair? c) after treating my venue rudely and pushed them into a corner. d) that last minute policy I stated above — WHODOESNOTCONDUCTBUSINESSON A SUNDAY if you’re in the event business… and CHARGEDOUBLE the delivery price of a normal day??? How difficult is it to add names and dates to a contract to bring in almost $ 2k in business??? I guess it MUST be because she just lost business from not only three people but from being recommended by the ONLY wedding venue in Cannon Beach, OR. Sue/Oregon Coast Rentals is NOT the place to go if you’re looking for a smooth rental for your event. Again — pushy, rude, last minute policies, unclear contracts and CLEARLY does not know how to Cc: in an email. As a business owner I suggest she learn quickly.
