Denny’s

This Denny’s exceeded my expectations of food and service. They had a yummy veggie burger (more grainy than typical chain ones) that was customizable with a whole-​wheat bun and toppings such as grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms and avocado. The accompanying french fries were quite decent. My wife enjoyed her healthy vegetarian omelet (she usually does not like omelets). We topped off our meal with a large cup of steaming hot chocolate.
What really set our experience apart, though, was the service. We had just come from a long ballgame and we were cold. Traci, our waitress, was exceptional. She saw that the hostess was away and seated us. She also worked to get us our food quickly and even checked us out at the end. We felt completely cared for by Traci (hence, the five stars).

Amazing staff! We were driving south and called a half hour ahead with a big order. They had it done perfectly by the time we arrived and it was still warm. Very impressed.

The food at Denny’s has not been good as of late. I ordered a vegetarian omelette and was not impressed. The broccoli was rubbery and I couldn’t even finish it. Even the coffee was not that great! There are so many better options for a good breakfast.

Happily surprised! It’s been quite some time since I had eaten at a Denny’s and I was surprised at the nice tables and environment. The food was good (dinner) and the portion was perfectly sized. We will probably go back as it was good and well priced!

It’s what you would expect from a Denny’s except I have never been served so fast and there were a decent amount of people in the place. It was a bit longer than fast food but not much and much better when on the road!
