Awesome Salon! Very cool retro vibe. Jill the owner did a drastic A line cut on my curly hair and it came out beautiful. I LOVE it and have never had hair this short before. She took more than an hour on my hair washing, brushing and cutting in sections so I could see how short I wanted the back which was great! Eric is also really cool and offered to blow my hair straight anytime I want! So excited to have found my new ‘hair home’ in South Bend. Finally after 2 years!

Eric and Dana are a wonderful wedding team. I’m a bride from out of town and took my event planner’s word when she said to call Beehive for wedding day hair and makeup for the bridal party. Eric was exceptional in creating a beautiful style, and keeping the energy up and the ladies happy and excited. My friends that saw pictures of the wedding said they loved the makeup, and how it wasn’t overwhelming — the credit for my wedding face goes to Dana.

I love the Beehive and Jill. I have very curly hair, and Jill has given me the best haircuts of my life – far better than cuts I paid twice as much for in major cities. I’ve also gotten my hair colored several times by a few different Beehive staff members, and I’ve been happy every time. The place has a great vibe – everyone is warm and enthusiastic, and it’s great to walk into a salon where everyone is excited about your curly hair, as opposed to intimidated /​annoyed /​wanting you to straighten it.

Jessica gave me a really great haircut! As someone with curly hair it can be rough to find someone that can properly cut and style curly hair. I have thick curly hair and for the first time in 28 years it is cut in a way that I makes my hair look cute and fun and not like a Lion’s Mane.
The salon is super cute with a retro vibe and the whole staff was super nice.

The only place I’ll get my haircut. Wonderful locally-​owned hair salon that provides every aspect of service that a salon should. Big city quality in downtown South Bend. I’ve been going there for years and have no plans to change to anywhere else.

I can’t imagine a greater experience for wedding hair styling than Jill and Beehive Studios! When I met Jill at my hair trial (about a month before the wedding) I knew that I had chosen the perfect place. They really go above and beyond. For instance, Jill stayed open late for us to get our hair cut and nails done the Wednesday before the wedding, and then squeezed in appointments for my sisters and I to get our hair done for the rehearsal dinner. Since my wedding was so early (9am at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart), Jill and her staff came to our hotel at 6am to do our hair… not only are they very talented, but they are also extremely efficient! (On the morning of the wedding, you don’t want to be sitting in the salon chair for hours!) Best of all, they are just so sweet and FUN… exactly the kind of people you would want around during your wedding!
