As a small business owner, I have a very hard time not writing a positive review, yet in this case I felt it was necessary. Now to be clear, the company did show up, did perform their services and did not damage property or injure anyone, but to they is the basics, and a good company does more than just show up, especially when the are a key element of your wedding. SUMMARY– wrong song played at groom entrance, yelling/crying kids in background, that disrupted call, on at least 2 calls, formal entrance not handled correctly, and dismissive attitude by dj when called on issues. My feeling as the groom and paying customer, They don’t care, they just want your event and money. Relationships/referrals don’t seem to matter.(read #5 for reasoning of this comment) Details… Early on, the rep was kind, timely and on the ball. Calls happened as promised, and details were documented. However, as we got closer to the date, the details were repeated to the host, but obviously not documented, which lead to issues on the day of our wedding. Not to mention, that on the day of our wedding, the MC/main dj showed up an hour after they had committed to arriving(committed to 1pm and showed up at 2pm) with no call. Granted ceremony was not until 330pm, but don’t commit to arrive at a time, then simply not show up. 2. After being told the song that we wanted the grandparents to walk down to, the night before, I received an email the day of stating they did not have it(why, almost any song on iTunes is $ 1.29 and we paid almost $ 2k…) why was it such a big deal to go out and get it? 3. The dj at the ceremony played the wrong song for the groom to walk down to, despite the fact thatOn the DJ came to the rehearsal and we went through the songs and program. Now granted, I had posted the song name incorrectly on the paperwork, but if the dj could not find the song, or if there was confusion, all they had to do was ASK. Besides, they heard the song play at the rehearsal! If music is your business, there should be no question if a song is right or wrong. And again, if the title did not match… just ask!!! It’s not like we gave the name of another song! 4 As part of our entrance we lead with the bridal party, followed by slide show, followed by bride and groom entrance. We went over this on 2 calls and was detailed in event notes. Would have even rehearsed if dj was on time as promised. But, dj did not pay attention and announced us to our guests anyway. Simple flow, and was documented… dj was just not paying attention. 5. Contacted dj after wedding and communicated our displeasure and never even got more that a terse 2 line response. No apology. No explanation. Just dismissed us, because he had his money and moved on. Never even asked for money, just a reason why such basic, yet important details were not managed properly… And received no reply or apology… So here we are… just shows how they do not value their clients
