Purchased the middle of the road quality ¾ oak, about 800 sq. feet, and it all installed very good. It was my first hardwood floor so not an experienced installer, but all in all I would say the price was good, I saved money doing it myself, the hardwood was about 95% usable so to use the other 5% I had to «hack» it and I was mostly successful. And yes I purchased 5% more than I needed but I don’t like to waste material. I think about 1% was unusable. So I’m pleased. The color consitency was not the best but I did what everyone else does and mixed several boxes but still it clearly was mixed. I would recommend Lumber Liquidators for the DIY. Also the store I went to in South Bend had great staff. Very helpful and nice customer service. Excellent.
