When I got married I moved in to PJ with her and it was ok a lot could have been done… Long story short we left and was happy to leave. We recently went back to PJ and they have new management and have remodeled a lot of the units and now we are thinking about going back they seem to care for the people that live there

The apartments themselves are ok, and the location is good. Maintenance is always fast. The appliances are all dated, but still work, and the walls are thin. We had neighbors move in that never stopped yelling, and we heard everything. Check your neighbors before you move in. My worst experience came at the end. They require a 60 day notice to move out. I was out of town, and called to inform them I would be moving out with 60+ days before my lease ended. They told me I had to come in person which I wasn’t able to do until 45 days before my lease ended. They told me I had to pay for another month, and they would not work with me in any way, even though I called and tried to inform them earlier. They wouldn’t even let me out of my lease on time if I found a new tenant to sign a new lease to take over my apartment. They would do absolutely nothing to help me out. I was gone the last four months of my lease, and still respectfully paid until the end, but they have no respect or care for their tenants. Find a different apartment to live in. You don’t want to live in a place where they care so much about themselves, and wont work with their customers at all.

Park Jefferson is beautiful, and maintenance is quick; but, there aren’t water softeners, everything breaks, and the thermostats don’t work correctly. Everything is electric, so whether you use the heat/ac or not, the bill is always around $ 100 a month. The laundry facilities work, but you’ll spend enough in a year to buy your own washer and dryer. The tanning beds put stripes on your body, the gym equipment is either broken down or you can’t get in, and renter’s insurance is now required because PJ keeps burning down. On the bright side, new buildings are being put up where the old ones stood. Perhaps, they’ll be nicer/safer.
