The last few times we have gone here it’s been great! however the last time I was somewhat disappointed as our server complained 3 different Times to 3 different people about a table that had been rude to her needles to say it soured my experience but all in all it’s a yummy place to go

Amazing mid rare cooked burgers(must have! and yes $ 9) and over all food. In the last few years I have noticed they are cutting down on the size of their skillet meals which is too bad but they are still great! Few years ago had bad experience with a burned out waitress and glad she is gone. Been there dozens of times from early morning to really late and loved it MOST of the times… Love everything BACON and they do a great job at it!

Must be busy for another reason than the coffee… Upon entering around 6pm, the main section of the diner was about half full, and waiter seated 2 parties ahead of me. The person staffing the greeter desk was on the phone, so I waited for her to finish with her customer, which she did, but another diner finished with her meal came up to pay as well. After another minute the greeter turned to the finished diner waiting with check — without turning to me at all or apologizing for delay, saying I’ll be with you in a moment. Greeter finishes ringing up the other diner, then proceeds to answer ringing phone.(It’s now been 5 minutes since entering) After waiting a moment, for her to finish call, I say I’m just here for my birthday Grand Slam, which requires a purchase of a beverage. Coffee for $ 2.19 didn’t sound too bad, so I ordered a decaf, and handed my ID over to confirm my birthday, and place order with greeter for Grand Slam. Greeter says 15 minutes for the food to be ready. Which is fine with me due to amount of customers ahead of me. While I wait, I head to visit the 1 stall restroom, where another 2 female guests are already in, discussing their personal matters, knowing there is someone waiting to use, but carry on with their conversation for at least 2 minutes. Nature is calling loudly to me, so I excuse myself from the cramped bathroom, and leave for the mens bathroom, which is a one stall and urinal. Thankfully no one entered while I was there. Bathrooms could use a lock on the women’s, especially since it’s only 1 stall. Went past the greeter’s desk, still no food — only 5 minutes had passed, so went back to my car to wait the additional 10. Came back in 10 minutes, and greeter passes me upon entering with two hands full of diner’s orders saying your order is on the side of the greeter desk. I looked to find the food already bagged, and coffee beside. Wanted to ask for cream & sugar, but decided I was pushing my luck and left without it anyway, noting when picking up the bag of food, that it seemed to tip to one side… didn’t think anything of it at the time. Took a sip of the decaf coffee in the car, to find it extremely bitter, to the point of making my stomach turn after only a couple of sips. I would think that for a diner that serves breakfast all day the coffee would be somewhat decent, but no. Hoped the food would be Denny’s saving point. Got home to enjoy my birthday Grand Slam to find all of the food piled on top of each other on one side of the platter — no wonder it felt like the bag tipped to one side when picking it up from the Denny’s greeter desk. At least the presentation didn’t affect the food’s taste — the food was cooked fine, with no problems. So, in short, I would not recommend ordering take out, or their coffee.

We order to go from this Dennys now and then and usually have no problems. We always ask for a paper napkin to be placed underneath the burger so that the bottom bun does not touch the plastic to-go container because if not the bun will become soggy by the time we get it home. On our recent order I explained this to the person taking our order over the phone. When we picked up the order she told me that she remembered to place the napkin under the burger and had even placed a napkin on top of it. I thought that sounded a little strange. When we got home my husband opened the container to enjoy his burger and we were stunned to find that she had placed a napkin on top of the bottom bun BETWEEN the burger and bun and a napkin on top of burger between the cheese and the top bun. What a mess! The cheese was gone as it had stuck to the napkin. After scraping shreds of disintergrated napkin from the top and bottom we just threw the whole thing away.

Despite being a chain restaurant this Denny’s has something different about it. That something is the waitstaff! Even when swamped they seem to keep a smile on their faces and a cool demeanor with the inevitable cranky customer or kitchen snafu. As for the food — it’s a Denny’s. A universal menu between franchises and franchise cooking standards in place. That being said this one is above and beyond what I have experienced in other states. The«seasonal» offerings are typically very yummy and the usual breakfast foods are good too. The quantity of food never disappoints and the price is reasonable.

I’ve always liked Denny’s food but have had trouble in the past with the service at other locations. That’s not the case at this one. Service was quick, though I was there early and that could change during rush times. Food was great and Kelly, the waitress, was excellent, as were the people who seated me and handled the bill. Price may be a little high for the type of food but not extremely so.

We were thrilled with this Denny’s, and certainly a surprise for me, after a lackluster meal at Denny’s in Seattle recently. Everything here was infinitely better: nice décor inside and outside, the vibe, but most of all of course, the food! The first night we had a Build Your Own Skillet each, and let me just say that it’s recommended. Their skillets certainly blew the one at Henry’s Diner out of the water. The pictured meal is two Build your Own Grand Slam: — Eggs, hash, grits, and buttermilk pancakes: huge pancakes and good grits. Hash cooked just right, just as D likes it: crispy on the outside, tender inside. — Eggs, grilled ham slice($ 0.49 extra), oatmeal, and wheat pancakes: again, HUGE pancakes, good ham, but the star here was the oatmeal. It was cooked perfectly and served plain with little jars of syrup and brown sugar. Needless to say, we couldn’t finish everything. Awesome food and great service from both staff.

Plan on waiting if you go during the normal rush hours of breakfast. The French toast and pancakes have arrived cold… Unfortunately they heat up a skittle underneath cold French toast that was made prior. Coffee is average. Those sizzling platters are great! Always interesting people watching and plenty of seating. I’ve never gone there for anything but breakfast. If you’re on that end of town, it warrants a consideration

Best place to eat in the area, stays open 24⁄7 and consistant. Will be back for more pancakes and to hang out with my friends.

The only thing better than the hash browns I just had for lunch at Denny’s with my wife and granddaughter was the service from our waitress, Maria. Oh yeah, coffee was perfect(that’s coming from a Starbucks Latte addict).

I know i know what your thinking it’s a damn chain restaurant Denny’s is. But you have got to understand we don’t have any of them down here in NYC or even in the Tri State area. Pretty sure you would have to go upstate New York or to any other state besides NYC to find a plethora of Denny’s locations. So being up in VT and being offered breakfast why not. I knew what to expect walking in so it wasn’t much of a shock. I’d have to say the staff here is the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced at any Denny’s I’ve ever been to. Sat down and gave the menu the once over and obviously i was in heaven and drooling just looking at it, but i guess i haven’t been to a denny’s in a while because let me tell you what i saw and i was like«OHHELLYES» it was a Build Your Own Grand Slam Breakfast. I read the options you could get for it and i was immediately sold. I ended up getting Three Buttermilk Pancakes, Two Strips of Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, and Hash Browns plus an Orange Juice. Oh my lord i couldn’t ask for anything more!!! so damn good and so damn filling !

Since IHOP opened I haven’t gone back and I won’t ever miss it. For what is supposed to be a quick and inexpensive meal, this Denny’s is neither. I feel everything is overpriced by at least 30−40% for the poor quality food you find here. If you should start comparing what things cost here to what you can get for the same price at other area restaurants you’ll quickly regret choosing this Dennys. There is so many better places to eat, with much better quality food, for the same exact price and in some cases even less!

Wow, Sunday morning, This place is a zoo! Where are all these people coming from??? If you are lucky to grab a seat at the bar– do it! as the wait here is ridiculous! The staff here seem to grunt and complain at how busy it is. At least our server did. but watching the kitchen and staff work is fascinating. they were soo busy and to watch them have things under control(sort of) and moving in a timely manner sparked our interest. The food here is like any other Denny’s. Greasy loaded with calories but it is quite satisfying if you have the beer from last nite to soak up.
