Food is luke warm; meat is tough(except for chicken); and the wait staff is irritating(all over your table — not in a good way). The walls were dripping with water from the humidity. There’s an unpleadant odor in the restaurant.

I went there yesterday and when I went in the waitress was very rude. I walked to the buffet and I didn’t see any steam or anything above the dishes, not to mention they looked very old. I saw a women come out with a silver tray of food and guess what she did? She put it down into the water, and put the old food on top of it which is a health code violation. I was very reluctant to eat and when i took my first bite, it was cold, just like I thought. Someone can get very sick from this because of the bacteria and they should be shut down, I am surprised they are still open because of such a bad experience, and 30 dollars for two people is not a good deal, especially with this food. Grand Buffet is great, but Tian Fu is horrible. Take it from someone who is going to school for hospitality, this isn’t it!

Service was great, seeing as it’s a buffet. Food. Not so much. Lots of options, but all tasted pretty awful. Went for lunch and costed us 30 dollars for 2 people. Not worth it

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I came in with low expectations, as the city of Burlington is not really known for its Asian food. This buffet is Americanized Chinese food. You will not find authentic Chinese food here. That said, it is not that bad. They have a seafood/sushi roll station that is ok. The clams are very edible. Rolls are generic but also edible. The stir fry and fried stuff came out continually. Fruit station just ok. Some canned stuff(peaches and lychee), melons, and cantaloupe. Dessert station has puddings, cakes, pastries, etc. Not bad. A few scalding hot soups were edible also. I would probably cone back if I was really craving Americanized Chinese food. Service was good. Not as bad as other reviewers stated.

I’m here to write about the unprofessional service, not the food. Frankly, i’m tired of my meal/conversation being interrupted by the waitstaff coming to collect dirty plates too frequently. But the real kicker is how pushy and desperate the staff is to get you out of there at the end of the meal; they sit and wait like vultures to collect your money. They exhibit no courtesy nor any patience for letting the customer enjoy the rest of their meal and relax, BEFORE paying the bill. Also the décor could use some attention, especially the water-stained ceilings.

Entrance located in shopping center, across from Price Chopper. It’s the average usual Americanized Chinese food buffet. Recommend going during lunch or dinner rush for fresh food, otherwise food is left on steam racks. Don’t get the pizza, as it is placed directly over a steam tray = soggy crust. Recommend the peanut butter chicken, fried zucchini slices, dumplings, and buttered potatoes. Only one flavor of soft serve ice cream, vanilla, and the fruits in salad bar usually not ripe. Waitstaff can be overeager to collect your plate… sometimes interrupting your meal. They also offer a takeout charge by the pound option as well.

Well I guess I’ll be the first review.(2 ½ stars) I was in the mood for greasy Chinese food and trying something new, that’s just what I got. I went there at around 8pm Monday night, there were a few other family’s there but I didn’t expect it to be busy. The main choices of food was one long double sided table, the other table was desert. There was a bunch of different choices of food, not a huge amount. The food overall I would give a 5 out of 10, I would give the freshness the same score. There was some frowning lady making sure the food was refilled when needed, but because there weren’t a ton of people some of the food was cold and/or didn’t seem fresh. Some things were better than others, most of the chicken and ribs were good, A lot of others were alright or bad. The small sushi table was very low grade, and all the deserts were cheap and you could taste how fake and thin they were. It was about 11.99 $ per person(dinner) for all you can eat, I think it’s a fair price. Other than that the eating experience was just fine, quite place and the service was average. One strange thing is you only get one fork the entire time, I thought that was odd. I left my fork on a dirty plate and they took the empty plate and left me my fork, no other/extra utensils at the buffet line. I’m from New York so I know how good cheap Chinese food can be. Still I might go again because there aren’t any half decent cheap Chinese food places around here, at least at a buffet you can find *Something* you like for a low cost. I felt fine afterwards too, that was a pleasant surprise. Maybe try it, maybe don’t.
