Zachary’s Pizza-S Burlington

Keep away. OMG. Cafeteria food. Tables dirty disgusting. Chicken parmesan dry. Ok i stop. Please stay away. :(

The pizza here is pretty standard American pizza, nothing super special about it. Have called in orders before and usually have to wait even when I get there after the time they say it will be done. Have had the salads as well, and those are very standard ice burg lettuce with cut up veggies. My favorite here is definitely the calzones, so that would be my recommendation.

We went to Zachary’s pizza yesterday with a group of about 50 students and we had a very very good service. The kids liked. They enjoyed the games too.

If you want standard pizza house fare, quality, and prices then this place is just fine. If you want a «Wow, that was amazing» experience then go some place else. Service was quite good though. Fast, attentive, and friendly.

For the 3^rd time in as many weeks we have ordered from this establishment only to have to call back because the order was incorrect or very poorly made. At this point, 1 star is being very generous.

I have been going to this Zachary’s Pizza since I was a kid. I went to Zak’s with my parents while I’m in town. Same pizza I remember. It’s good they’ve kept consistency in their ‘zaw.

Totally disappointed. $ 7 for a handful of old lettuce «Caesar Salad». Artichoke dip was a spoonful with mushy garlic bread to dip. The $ 16 medium pizza is a small anywhere else. And it was average. The only redeeming value was incredibly fast delivery. It would be a two star review for $ 20 but gets 1 at $ 40 plus tip.

I went in to place a to go order at 11:27 on a Saturday night. Their website clearly stated they were open until midnight. When I walked in and said I wanted to place a to go order they to me they were closed. There were patrons in the restaurant and appeared to be someone sleeping in a booth. It was difficult because we had read reviews and were interested in the pizza, drove over and were refused service. Very disappointing.

This particular Zachary’s has been here serving pizza since I was a kid. I swear some of the same people are still there!
Not all Zachary’s are equal. A lot I find make pizza’s with very soggy crusts. Not this one! This one does it just right.
That said most Zachary’s are very similar. What sets this one apart is the service. I love going there for lunch because I am treated so well. I seat myself, one of the servers inevitably comes by and offers me the newspaper (no, I’m not kidding — how awesome is that?!!) and the waitress brings a glass of water right off the bat when she first comes to see what I would like to drink.
Highly recommend this Zachary’s. Oh — and if you have kids they have a great play room. I’ve brought a few of my buddy’s kids there and they loved it.

Great yummy cheesy comfort food. Relaxed restaurant — really good for kids!

I didn’t visit the game room so can’t comment on that. Somehow we were on the road nearby looking for a non-​chain place and it looked ok. For lunch we each had Philly cheese steak grinder and it was really good. Even had cheese whiz (like the real Philly ones). Service was very fast and courteous. This is not a gourmet place but for lunch while out and about, I’d recommend it.

The Fun center is absoluteley filthy. And more games seem to be out of order or eating tokens then not. I asked for hand sanitizer because of this germ fest just to treated poorly by the little blond minnimum wager at the ticket redemption counter. I would of let all the nastyness slide if she wasnt so rude. Dont waste you time or money here.

Restaurant Impossible planning a visit soon? This place must survive on revenue from the game room/​arcade in the back. I’ve been here several times. The food is bland and I doubt it is very fresh, based on the taste. Most likely using a lot of frozen, prepackaged products.
My most recent visit was a family outing and the location was picked because of availability of the space on short notice and relative low cost.
The server was fantastic. Very friendly and very attentive. The food? I would not be coming back solely for the food. If I want pizza, Leonardos is just a block down the road and has far better pizza — but no where to sit and relax.

For a place that has no atmosphere to speak of, the pizza here is not too bad.
I grant you that this is a place for kiddies and the families that love them — or at least thats what it seems to be, but I found the place to be a bit understated, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
So, score one for the pizza and zero for the atmosphere and provided you are not there for anything that you might want someplace more formal, you can get a good pie (personal or otherwise), here and enjoy it.
