This place recently reopened in a new smaller take-out only spot next to the old location. Their stuff has always been good in the past so I figured I would come again since it has been so long. I wish that they had taken the time to actually train their staff on how to pull shots properly and how to make coffee in general. First I asked for a iced coffee but when I saw that it was hot coffee over ice I changed my mind. I then asked for a 4 shot espresso over a cup packed with ice. Essentially an iced americano but I wanted them to put a lot of ice in it which isn’t usually done when you say iced americano. The girl at the front tried charging me $ 11.75! I live in NYC and the most I’ve ever paid for this drink is $ 5.50 and that is for good coffee at high end coffee shops. The person at the counter obviously knew nothing about coffee or how you’re supposed to charge for it. I asked her how many shots of espresso come in an americano and she said one. I’ve never heard of such a thing. Americanos should always have at minimum two and scale up according to cup size. Beach Plum proudly displays a sign that they serve Speedwell Coffee. I suggest that if you’re so proud serving a coffee then you learn how to properly serve it and charge for it instead of assuming all of your customers don’t understand what they’re paying for. I’ve worked in coffee for a number of years and I would never overcharge someone the way that Beach Plum tried today.

Great coffee. Delicious apple crumb muffin: moist, perfectly baked. Fig ginger scone is flaky with well proportioned flavors. Have not been there since remodel.

This review is for the window-bar that is now open during renovations. My aunt recommended we try it, as they put in a very expensive espresso machine, and it was a cute and quaint spot to grab a bite. Gster wanted a coffee, so we took the 5 minute drive from Salters point. They have the cutest tables outside to sit and chat in the sun, and then the smallest window bar to order food/drinks. We got a lemonade, muffin, and coffee. The lemonade was probably the top 3 best lemonades I have ever had, and everything else was perfection. The perfect way to start the day.

If you haven’t had a breakfast panini and an espresso drink from the beach plum you’re more than missing out.

Awesome food! My favorites:(1) breakfast sandwich,(2) duck sandwich, and(3) tuna sandwich. I look forward to visiting the area just to go here!

Truly some of the best cappuccino’s I have ever had, have been here… their muffins are always moist and delicious. And as a chocomaniac, I have to say their brownies are the best! A cross between fudge, pure chocolate and perfection! They make lunches that are original with a nice mix of flavors and textures. Let alone the wonderful water view and the super friendly waitstaff.

Turkey bacon and avocado. Maybe it was because we came during the winter, but they had a small selection of sandwiches that were just different variations of grilled cheeses and BLT’s. They were good, but I think I will wait to see if the summer brings in some new ingrediants, otherwise I will pass on them until then.

Delicious café near the water! Although a little pricey, it is definitely worth it! I got the honey mustard avocado panini and my boyfriend got the chicken salad sandwich. Both meals came with quinoa pasta salad side which was awesome! Great sandwiches and homemade baked goods-highly recommended!

Over priced. $ 14.00 for an egg sandwich and a drink. Not worth it. They have recently added rude service to the dining experience.

Have you ever had a poached egg on your breakfast sandwich? My wife and I recently visited this nice sea side bakery/café’ and as a result may have found one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever. I was actually pretty surprised it was as good as it was. I wasn’t surprised because of how the place looked or anything like that but more because I have eaten a ton of breakfast sandwiches over the years and it just cought me off guard. The place was very clean and there was lots of seating both inside and outside should weather permit. The pastry looked great and my coffee was pretty good. My wife said her latte was excellent. The Sandwich: It was done panini style and was offered on two types of bread, I chose french. The sandwich came with a poached eggs, Gruyère Cheese and a choice of bacon or ham. I was also given the option of adding avocado. a slice of tomato and red onion. I went with bacon and added all three extras. Although the price got a little high with all the extras I felt it was worth it and the sandwich was pretty large as well. Comparable to two English muffin sandwiches if you want to share. I just feel like the poached egg and those veggies brought the sandwich to a place that a fried egg couldn’t get to. If you are in the area don’t miss it!

I love this place. I’ve visited the area a couple times now and after coming in the first time, I had to come back. The baked goods are SODELICIOUS. Blueberry muffins, raspberry almond scones, sticky buns. .. mmm. I hear they’re going to stop serving breakfast and start serving dinner full time instead. It’s a shame because their lattes are super pro. I will say I went for dinner recently and it was great so I can’t lament the switch that much. I had the goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms — which I said I wouldn’t finish all of them promptly did — and a big juicy serving of poached lobster with corn pudding on the side. It was an ideal indulgent vacation meal. Definitely a must if you’re in the area!

We stayed in the area for a few days and this was THEBEST food we had anywhere – including Westport and the Tiverton area. The fish tacos were simple and full of flavor. Service was excellent. Nice little outdoor eating area,

Fantastic local café. A somewhat eclectic menu, but everything is interesting and above all fresh! Great selection of beverages too. Go for breakfast(killer breakfast sandwiches) or lunch. Everything is made to order, so it is not fast food. Your patience will be rewarded. Be sure to try the amazing fish tacos. Really!

Great place for lunch and they have some breakfast items too. Food is top notch and owners are always on site to make sure you get things done right. Some of my personal faves are the blt and the grilled cheese.

Two updates: I oughtta take away a star for consistently slow service! However, I ran into Seth Rogan here, so… I guess they can keep it. I was too«cool» to take a picture or not to pretend I didn’t recognize him, though. I let him keep his incognito status.
