I really like this place. The food comes out so fast! The service is friendly and attentive. The margaritas are strong. You can’t go wrong.

This restaurant is kind of a haul for me, but I have been back multiple times. The food is delicious and the variety great. I often get the fish tacos or the seafood burrito. Plenty of food on those big plates. The ambiance is booths and tables, and I am not much of a fan of the dress code that the waiters wear, but I don’t care as long as the food is good. The location is in some sort of strip mall, but don’t let that discourage you from trying this place. It’s a great value for the price.

Finally a Mexican cantina worthy of of praise! This place has authentic Mexican food and drink and is a homerun! The atmosphere is terrific and the food is better. Enchiladas, fajitas, carne Asada, and my all time favorite pollo a la crema are all fantastic. Get a few margaritas and enjoy the night. Our 8 year search for good Mexican food in MA is finally over!

Whoever is answering your phones right now is extremely rude and sounds like they’re high. They wouldn’t take my reservation for Saturday but said maybe if I called back later they would. No thanks, I’ll take my business somewhere else.

Good place to get some fajitas and tacos. It’s reasonable, about $ 15 for a fajita and they are quite good. This place is my go-to local spot when I am feeling like some Tex-Mex style food. It’s not incredible, but I have never had a complaint here. The servers are always attentive. It’s not crazy expensive either.

Went here on a Saturday night and there was about a 20 minute wait. My friend and I were seated at a high top table in the bar section. There was a game on so people were there to take advantage of the plentiful amount of TVs. Our waitress, Clarice, was great. She was friendly and even though it was very busy checked on us a few times throughout the meal. The food came out quickly and was hot when we got it. Both of us loved our meals. We will be back for the great food and great service.

The burritos chicken and beef are excellent. Salsa is delicious. The ultimate Margarita is just that! It’s outside appearance doesn’t match the tasteful experience you will have. The staff is laid back and pleasant. A must try

I love El Mariachi! It by far is my favorite place to go. When you go to this location you can expect great drinks and very fast service! I usually get the Oceano Burrito, but was a little disappointed to chomp on a few shells. I have been here before, so I know the food is usually fantastic. If you want to come here just to drink, there are plenty of delicious options! I do have to say that I prefer the Seekonk, MA location because the Mariachi band just makes it a better experience!

This restaurant was great! I suggest the pollo Maria with a side of tortillas! The drinks are great. I got a raspberry mojito but there were no raspberries in it. &a frozen strawberry margaritas that gave me 8 brain freezes straight! Our waitress Ania was wonderful! Great job serving, very attentive & patient. A lot of great suggestions from her. I would recommend this to everyone!

We LOVE El Mariachi! Great food, good price and the made-in-front-of-you Guacamole cart is awesome! Best sit-down Mexican restaurant in the south metro area.

wow, talk about delicious & authentic! Very impressed. The table side guac is worth it. MIL liked the fish tacos & I enjoyed the shrimp in garlic sauce — it came with mushrooms which was a surprise. The mariachi music & décor were pleasing — definitely coming back next time.

I really like this place a lot! they do get very busy on the weekend and if you sit at the bar the bartender is non-stop however your glass is always full and you never want for anything I don’t know how they do it. The food is very good, there are not many Mexican restaurants around the South Shore that there any good but this place I highly recommend.

Normally, I’m not much of a Mexican food chica. However, my husband suggested this place as we happened to be in the area and I was getting hangry(Angry hungry) and I was ready for anything. When we walked in– we were greeted by friendly staff and a pleasing atmosphere, although I did think it was a bit generic, and reminded me of the few other Mexican restaurants I have found myself in over the years. I didn’t need to give the menu a huge look through as I knew I wanted steak fajitas. They were pretty run of the mill, standard, and unevenly filled. Some pieces had steak, some had none. Some had too much cheese and some had none, so I never had the perfect mouth pleasing bite that I was hoping for. the steak bits I did get were just that, bits, and dried and chewy and smothered in cheese. The accompaniments on the side(sour cream, tomato, lettuce, etc) were probably a little older and less fresh than I was hoping for but at this point I wasn’t too picky. The saving grace of the establishment was the friendly service that we received. It wasn’t fast(it want particularly busy but our waiter did walk by Our table several times when we were clearly ready for the check), and when he did stop to wrap up our ticket, another server had already brought us to go boxes and our check. For a place that wasn’t super busy(not particularly slow either) –our server rushed us when taking our order and made us wait a little too long to get out check. But at least he was friendly and smiled a lot and spoke politely. Sometimes for me, that can make a mediocre experience better and I would still go back, knowing where to lie my expectations and maybe give it another try, and make another choice. It’s a great place to stop in and get a drink and some fresh salsa and chips though, and a casual meal. Overall. Fair attempt but just missed the mark for me!

If you’re really into Mexican food, I guess this would be the place to go. Everything from the small«hole-in-the-wall» style restaurant feel to the constant Latin music playing just loud enough to not disturb conversation. It’s on the main drag, if you’re not paying attention you’ll drive right by small shopping plaza it’s located in. Parking is scarce, so if you’re not there early you’ll be hard pressed to find a spot. The food is alright, about as authentic as it gets, but it’s still overpriced in my opinion. $ 12+ for almost everything on the menu, I had trouble finding anything cheaper. Speaking of the menu, there’s no real organization. Everything is just put on it, in a constant stream of food items, no dedicated sections. All in all, it’s a good spot if you’re really looking for the authentic stuff, but be prepared for a large bill.

Holy camolly. Margaritas. Yes, it’s huge. It’s basically served in a bowl. I really like this place, they have a fun interior, and really good mexican food. In can get a little loud/rowdy but it’s part of the fun. This can be good for a large group too.

I know my Mexican food being from Arizona… this place has some of the BEST fish tacos I have ever had! I have also had the spinach enchiladas which are my second fave. Seriously, 5-stars for me is a rarity!

A couple of others and I wanted some Mexican food, so I found this place on Unilocal and didn’t know what to expect, but was quite surprised when we got our food and it was excellent. None of us left anything on our plates. They have a great lunch time special, for $ 7.99 you can choose two items on the lunch menu and you get beans and rice also(well worth the money and plenty of food). I got the cheese enchilada and a burrito and both were fantastic. I would definitely come back here again and tell others to come here too.
