This review is only a review for the exterior of this place.(I will be coming back to review this place after I purchase something!) I decided to photograph this location for my typology project. I placed myself outside of this store for over 5 hours, and these are my observations: The overall mood of this location in the dark hours of the night are beautiful. The retro feel and neon lights are wonderful. There’s also a variety of types of people who come in all buying liquor. In fact, while I was posted at my spot, I saw tons of people(and photographed them as well) and everyone was purchasing alcohol. The alcohol is apparently located on the left side in the glass case. Sodas are to the right. The man working in the store also frequently restocks the items and appears to be rather friendly as all the patrons that left were smiling and happy. If you buy anything, your items will be placed in a black bag as well. I will definitely come back and actually purchase something here! I wasn’t able to last night as I had all my gear and needed to watch it. PARKINGTIP: From my observations, you can park at the gas station on the corner of the street and walk to this place as I saw many people do. You could also attempt to park at the small lot to the right of this location though it appears it’s rather difficult to exit as the lot is on Garvey street and the street can be rather busy.

ok so this place is a pain to park at… you either park in front of a residence/apt driveway area(perhaps its really C&Y’s lot) or at the mobil next door. This store is tiny and has a funky bandit barrier and a ding that doesnt stop repeating itself(extremely annoying). I also saw a bunch of itty bitty teeny tiny ants roaming around. Consequently you can bet your sweet bibby, that there is no way in the hot fiery joint downstairs, that I would buy any food here! Liquor or lotto ok, anything else, Ohhh HELLNO! So I stopped in for Lotto(big surprise I know). and they had all the standard basic mini mart stuff. Liquor, coke, candy, dish soap, etc etc etc. Hell they even had a dusty beer swag airplane suspended in the room. yeah its a blow up one too!!! haha The clerk/possible owner was a very nice gentleman, but not exactly the cleanest looking dude ever. So while I dont think I will ever come back, its likely handy for their standard clientele…
