I purchased a body form today at a very reasonable price. The lady that helped me was beyond nice and accommodating. She was extremely patient and thoroughly answered all my questions. This was a no fuss purchase. I love no fuss purchases.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now. They’re not the lowest priced mannequins and jewelry displays out there, but you really can’t put a price on excellent customer service. I hate the one-​way streets of Los Angeles, anyway. And its further. It’s not worth saving $ 5 just so I can drive further and deal with someone who barely speaks english. The folks here are great. I personally prefer to deal with Anna, because she is the one I’ve dealt with since I started coming here. No offense to the other people here, they smile and greet me when I stop by. They do close early on Fridays. It isn’t really a store, so its best to call them and «schedule an appointment» (basically a heads up) because if you stop by when it’s everyone’s lunch time, it may get a bit hot waiting in your car for a sales rep and/​or order puller (warehouse) to get back. There are no trees in their parking lot, so I learned my lesson the first time I had to wait.
I’ve picked up one of their new items. Its a hanging version of me. LOL. Its a plus size torso. So, this plus size hanging lady works great if you sell tops on Etsy or Ebay cuz it gives a 3-​dimensional feel to it. I was skeptical at first since they told me its made in china. It is pretty thick plastic though, and acutal PLUS SIZE. You know how sometimes these teeny tiny chinese women are – their plus size is like a ladies size 10 or something. This hanging lady fits some of my size 14 & 16 stuff, depends on the clothing brand. I posted a picture from their website, cuz I have yet to take a picture with my clothes on it. I will post that a bit later.

If you ever need a mannequin for a trade show in Las Vegas, they can arrange shipping for you. Much cheaper than renting mannequins from a local source.
People from Hollywood studios often acquire their props here for their motion pictures.

I purchased a mannequin base from this company after I was told that they are standard and should fit my mannequin. I tried everything to get my mannequin on the base but it does not fit. It is a very flimsy cheap and quality part while the price is not that competitive. Their customer service is horrible and return policies are worst. Stay away and take your business somewhere else.

I volunteered to provide the carnage for a post-​apocalyptic party given that I frequent LA on my monthly pilgrimage to work. I discovered Display Importer online and made an appointment to peruse their damaged stock. While their seconds selection was somewhat limited at the time, their salesperson Anna was quite helpful.
As far as location goes it’s close to some great SE Asian grocery stores and one of my favorite restaurants, China Islamic — a big plus in my book.

I’ve research several places, and this place seems to have the best prices… but not by much! Just by a little. It seems that display prices everywhere are pretty much the same. You have to make an appointment to go to this warehouse and check out the items. They have an «ok» selection of display items. What I like is that Anna, the sales rep, is nice. I once had a problem with one of the displays I bought, and she was happy to help me exchange it. Nice woman.

I needed a simple, functional half-​scale dress form to drape on; I do a lot of experimentation and I was burning through fabric doing them on a full scale form. Like any responsible (haaaaa) consumer I did my research online, and stumbled upon
. They had exactly what I was looking for, at an unbeatable price. Another website tried to sell the exact same half size form, at DOUBLE the price. Gross.
Just my luck; they were local! I made a quick call to confirm, talked to Anna who was very accommodating and informative, and dropped by an hour later. The form was exactly what I expected, good for the price. Quick and efficient purchase; 30 minutes later I’m home, muslin’s already on the form, putting the thing to use, having the time of my life, yeee!
