You could wait it out in there till traffic dies down.

Up to you, but this is why I like this gas station.

Because of horrible, rude, unhelpful customer service. I wanted a car wash plus gas and they didn’t want to help me cancel my transaction to add the car wash.

Gas station usually has lowest prices compared to nearby stations. If you purchase a car wash you get gas for $.20 cent less per gallon. Not too shabby. However I’ve realized that whatever wash you pick (there are 4 different options) you get the same wash. So pick the cheapest wash. I’ve opted for the $ 10 wash, the $ 9 and the $ 8 and you get that same as the $ 7 dollar wash. No rainbow wax, no special wax, no wax of any kind. So always do the $ 7 dollar wash. It won’t get into the cracks and crevices, but it will do an overall relatively decent wash for $ 7 bucks.
Whoever maintains the wash needs to refill the wax. They are really scamming their customers!!!

I will give a 0 stars just because of the bad customer service from Yesenia — cashier. Made me make line when I ask for a reprint of receipt, because the machine gave me a partial receipt. She ignored me and she was very unpolite. She needs customer service manners.

The new car wash is pretty sad when it comes to drying. $ 7 for express wash. At the end it says that you have so much time left to drive through to dry, but the dryer stopped when we had about 4min30sec left on the timer. The car was only halfway through. We went in to complain and they let us wash again. Same results, we had to drive through the dryer quicker… car still isn’t dry. :(We let the worker know so that hopefully the owner will get the message so they can fix the timing issue. For now, I’ll continue my washes over at Mobil.

I used to always look at the price of the pump to decide which gas station to pump Because their prices are both similar. Today is my time ever supporting this particular shell station because their business practice is very sneaky. When the sign outside has two column of price, you would only assume that one is cash and the other is credit card. It’s a savings of 20 cent. I inconvenience myself for the extra 20 cent. When I was done pumping, I realized that the price was the same like the credit card. So I went in to ask why the price is the same. She said everyone assumes that. It’s only that price if you use the car wash. Enough said, scanless. Good bye, I’d rather support mobile from now on.

This is my go-​to gas station. I found out that it’s always 10 cents cheaper than any other gas station in the 10 – 15 mile radius. Quite a surprise for being right off the freeway.
It’s quite convenient for me as it’s on my way home from work. Even at night it is well-​lighted that women can gas up safely. If you want an even cheaper bargain opt for getting the car wash and they chop of another 10 cents per gallon. I haven’t tried this particular station’s car wash so that’s another story.
Their convenience section has the usual fare. This even has a Subway sandwich kiosk on one side. And if you’re the gambling type, they sell lotto as well. Just be sure to buy your winning tickets before 10 pm because they don’t sell them after that time.
One time my mom had to use the restroom and she said that it was clean. Coming from my mom that says a lot.
My fuel rewards card also makes my trip to this station a happy one.

They have the worst car wash ever. It did nothing to my car! My car looked exactly the same after the car wash. Waste of money.

So we come to gas up here on our way home from Palm Springs & 1^st the gallon is NOT $ 2.89 unless you purchase their car wash, otherwise you pay $ 3.09 a gallon FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. So we get the car wash, then… turns out the carwash doesn’t work only to soak r car with soap. After waiting to see what happens for 5 minutes I go back to attendant & she tells me that she forgot to tell me that the car wash to get $ 2.89/gal doesn’t work & that I have to purchase the $ 9 car wash. So I say to her, but there was another car behind us to wash their car? She responds by saying that customer purchased the $ 9 car wash (I’m thinking… if the car wash doesn’t work to get lower rate it shouldn’t work for any car wash, right?). So we go back with a code for a $ 9 car was & the car wash didn’t work for the customer before us nor for us! SMH I hate when people lie to me. When people trust you they will do business with you. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN #KeepItReal!

How can a gas station get 1 star, very easily, Customer Service.
I went in on Friday 7÷11÷14 to use a car wash ticket from when I pumped gas on 7÷4÷14. When you agree to purchase a car wash before you pump, the price of gasoline drops .10 cents a gallon. I usually do this on days that I have to fill up my tank. So I am waiting behind 3 cars. One is inside being washed, and the other two are waiting. Overall I waited like 10 — 12 minutes. It’s finally my turn, I punch in my code and it says it’s invalid. I tried again like 3 more times. I have to drive past the car wash. I go to the cashier and ask her whats the problem? The code was good till 7÷14÷14. She says «Ohh, that happens some time.» Really, Wow! great! Guess what, since I left the car wash, there where another three cars behind me waiting. Do you really think I want to wait another 15 minutes because your system is faulty. What got me upset was, no Sorry here’s an upgrade or anything. Just pretty much, Tough $#!+, that’s life. BTW, I was dealing with the manager. I’ll make it a point to go to the Mobil across the street from now on, same premium gas, same price, the only thing that would bring me to Shell was the car wash, but I’ll find other gas station options

I always come here to fill up just because it’s cheaper than other gas station along the freeway. But their credit card system needs to be upgrade, it just too SLOW! The system run much faster at Shell on Valley & 7^th.

Gas at a decent price. Very convient for me since I can go on the 605 or 60 freeway. Also close by Rio Hondo College.
Reason being for 2 stars is because I pay with credit card. Now for some reason… im never allowed to pump more than $ 50!!! $#!@ !! At first I thought it was my card that was giving me problems so I went to try it at shells next to home. No issues with that. Went over $ 50. So I went to my bank to check… everything is ok there. So I went to ask the cashier today. They don’t even know why it stopped at $ 50. So when they fix this issue, they will get 5 stars

Came to this Shell Gas Station, today upon leaving from Los Angeles. It was a decent price and the pump worked fine. This Gas Station had a Food Mart, a Subway and a Car Wash.

I either come here or go across the street to the Mobile gas station. Whichever one is less busy. Their gas prices is probably one of the lowest in the San Gabriel Valley area. They are mostly busy all day since it’s right off the 60 freeway.
I hate their computers in their pumps because it always seems to be very slow whenever I pay by credit card. Sometimes it doesn’t even work.
Anyhow, I come here for the convenience when I am around the area close to the freeway. It’s cool.

There are lines at times, and pump 8 has a terrible dip in the drainage grate that my lowered car can never park in, but gthese are always consistently the lowest gas prices around for top tier gas, especially since its right off the freeway.

So I come to this spot when the Mobil station across the way is packed. I don’t really know why one would be packed over the other since the prices are exactly the same other than preference.
I haven’t tried their car wash yet. but one of these days. I’d have to say these are one of the cheapest gas stations in the area.

I love that this place is on the way home, almost makes my 70 mile RT commute to work worth it. This shell is like everyone else said the cheapest shell in the area, i dont know how they keep it lower but their prices rival that of costco’s. And because of this place, it forces the mobil across the street to keep their prices low also, gotta love capitalism!

This is, by far, one of the cheapest gas stations around. I tend to pump here, or at Costco, because of how competitive they are in prices to other stations. This one is right off of th 60 and 605 fwys. And that’s why it’s odd that their prices are still so low.
They have a convenience store that rivals your classic AM/​PM.
Because of their prices, if you go during the day, there’s usually a small wait for a pump. But, a small wait is nothing when you are saving anywhere from 10 – 20 cents per gallon.
I love this Shell and have debated on Unilocaling it for fear that my little secret would become known to all. But being in this economic downturn, I figured that I would be nice and share this bargain.
