My first time here and probably be my last. It may have been an off day or something but the food tasted very salty the day I came. It was very hard to put down. Up side customer service was really good.

I very much enjoy the fish tacos here. The carne asada burritos are also very good. The place is clean on the inside and there are plenty of tables to sit at. They also have tables outside for whenever you’d like to enjoy the nice scenery. The prices are very fair and they give a very good serving of food per plate. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. And they have beer.

This is definitely my favorite place to go to for fish tacos! They have other good stuff too like ceviche and what not but you must try the fish taco for sure. The chile that comes with it is so good too! It’s not hot but has flavor. Really tasty and better than other restaurants I’ve tried in the past. If you’re in the area, try this place!

I was at work and my boss just told me she wanted GOODFISHTACOS. So I looked up a couple of place near by for good Fish Tacos, and this was definitely the nearest with informative reviews. So we decided to call and ask if they take phone orders & luckily they did. I made sure I had everyone look over there menu on the website to choose what they wanted, then I called back and ordered. Food was ready 30 min later. Which was perfect I was able to go as soon as I was on my lunch to pick up the food. I got a burrito, everyone else got fish tacos & shrimp tacos. I tasted my coworkers shrimp taco and it was amazing, I regretted not trying them. So if you go there TRYTHEM! LOL :)

Love Taco Nazo. I frequent the one in Bellflower. This location’s tacos are just as great. However, the only issues I have is the insect roach spray smell from kitchen is overpowering. The location itself is nice and clean with great seating. But you know, the smell can be masked better.

Good, cheap and fast eat! The carne asada meat and hot sauce aren’t the tastiest, but it’s still good. You get a lot of meat for what you pay for. I like the fact they have a drive through… this is what I would’ve written before seeing a few pics from Unilocalers of WORMS. I’m so grossed out right now. Lost my appetite. YUCK! Once is a little gross. but seeing three different reviewers with worm pics is ^_______^ Would’ve given them a 3 star but oh man I won’t be back here! Damnit, I wanted to come back! I’m so glad I didn’t find that in my food.

This one by far is the better location then La Puente. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is more up to date and cleaner. They also have a beer selection here and tv’s. Love the shrimp tacos and tortas.

Price update, Fish Taco price went up to $ 2.19 each They have a 6 pack for $ 12.84. Prices are not the same as they used to be back in the day. But the tacos are still good.

BESTFISHTACOSINELMONTE!!! I always order the two fish tacos combo(with rice, bean and a drink). The order comes with a side of chips too, which is a plus! I love how perfectly crispy the fish is when you bite into the taco. I love their carne asada and fried potato tacos as well, YUM!

First time I tried taco nazo and immediately noticed they have a drive thru. Fish tacos and drive thrus? Didn’t know that they can match. Also, I had two fish tacos, a shrimp taco, and mixed ceviche tostada. Mixed ceviche tostada comprised of mixed fish, octopus, and shrimp and was decent. But it’s the tacos that stand out. The shrimp taco was good, but those fish tacos — I wouldn’t mind ordering them in batches. I really like them, pretty darn tasty. Welcoming inside atmosphere with condiment bar filled with radishes, lime, salsas, and other add-ons. I waited 40 minutes for a perpetually late friend, but I wasn’t mad. I had me some fish tacos.

Taco Nazo puts on credible Baja style Mexican in San Gabriel Valley. I found myself both hungry and in SGV on business when a co-worker mentioned that Taco Nazo had a righteous fish taco and ceviche tostada so I said«let’s do this». The interior is run of the mill for the area and genre plus the service was friendly and fast. It is also worth mentioning they offer a bevy of Mexican beers to wash those tacos down with. Considering the fish tacos were their specialty, I went that route and threw in the ceviche tostada for good measure. The lot of it came to roughly $ 12.00 with a drink. Taco Nazo’s brand of fish taco includes battered Alaskan Pollock seasoned and fried and then topped with cabbage, pico de gallo and a loose and tangy signature cream. I personally prefer Wahoo’s style of cajun rubbed fish as it is a quarter of the calories and fat yet has more punch that the fried counterparts but direct comparison aside, I was quite happy with the soft and delicate mouthfeel of the Pollock. Somehow the cabbage and cream gave the taco a lighter feeling than it should have. The centerpiece of my meal was certainly the shrimp ceviche tostada. Fresh shrimp is marinated in squeezed lime juice and then tossed with onions, tomato, and cilantro. Everything seems to be hand cut and then it is topped with sliced ripe avocado. The citrus blast of lime and the cold and meaty shrimp tastes like summer on a tortilla round. If I return I would just get a pair of these and a can of Modelo white then call it a day. With a strong fish taco and incredible shrimp ceviche tostada, I have a go-to next time I hunger for Mexican while in the SGV.

BESTFISHTACOSEVEEEEEERRRRRRRR. I’ve never been to the actual restaurant so this review is based strictly on the tacos I’ve been brought. Crispy battered fish, gooey cream sauce, spicy chili peppers seasoned with salt and pepper and roasted to perfection. Tacos are SO flavorful and filling, decent large sized tacos — just 2 can make me full. Topped with a nice crispy cole slaw on top of each taco. A LITTLE on the oily side, but so worth cheating for.

The sign«WORLD’S BESTFISHTACOSSINCE1978» lured me in. I saw the sign on my way home. So I gave it a try. Of course you order nothing but Fish taco here. Is it the worlds best fish taco? I don’t no, because I haven’t tried it everywhere but didn’t hesitate to try it here. And I was positively surprised about the size and look of the taco. And yes I the fish was friend and looked unusually big and good on that taco. Fish Taco $ 1,99 with tax it was $ 2,37 or so. I think I will come here more often. Minus one star for using so much plastic. The global warming is going skyrocket, because of pollution and plastic and we’re eating fish tacos.

Little spot in El Monte that I decided to check out because I was feeling like taco Tuesday. And of course, boyfriend took me to. El Monte for tacos. Taco Nazo doesn’t actually have taco Tuesday specials, but their normal prices aren’t too bad at all. $ 1.99 for fish tacos and about $ 2.50 for shrimp tacos. I ordered one fish taco and one shrimp taco and it was pretty filing. You can also do one fish taco and one shrimp taco with a combo, which means you get a drink and chips for ~$ 2 more. Their fish taco is pretty good, though I do prefer the fish taco at Rubio’s more. The fish taco is not the point of this review. The point of this the SHRIMP taco. The shrimp taco is so good! Really juicy and flavorful, shrimp were fresh as well. I would probably come back and try a shrimp burrito next time, so I can gorge on more shrimp and not be bothered with fried batter getting in the way. I highly recommend the shrimp taco here. I took away a star because I thought it was a little gritty inside. There was a fly flying around and the salsa bar isn’t covered, probably ate fly salsa –_–

While not the best place to get fish tacos, it was ok. My husband loved the shrimp tacos, I didn’t really love the fish or al pastor. In fact, the meat was so bad I brought it back. Fish was fine, just not special. Small salsa bar and friendly service made up for it all a bit. Clean location, plenty of seating. Prices and portions are fair, everything is made fresh to order. The quesadilla is huge, the best value here for sure. Thought I would love the huge roasted peppers they add for free, but the ton of lemon salt was just not for me, still a nice gesture. Gets really full here, but the line moves fast. I’ll be back for more shrimp for my husband, but for me it wasn’t worth going out of my way to come back for.

Ok being that I grew up around Mexican families, the culture and food I know my stuff. The shrimp cocktail here is top notch. De-veined shrimp clean fresh and cold. I do not like when the juice is sweet. This was perfect. The fish tacos were Baja style which is with crème. I would have ordered light crème. The beans and rice were ehh, not that great. The salsa bar is plentiful, but lacks a green chili verde salsa. The salsa at the bar needs a remake. Definitely worth coming. I will come again. Service was great.

HOOOLYCRAP are their fish tacos good! And what I really enjoy about this place is that they serve them with these deliciously seasoned chilis! I think they’re also fried… And then they’re rolled in a little salt, pepper and citrus. Ughhh tacos this good could make every day taco Tuesday! YUM

I love Taco Nazo! Personally thinks they have the best fish tacos around the area. The fish tacos were always fried to perfection. Yum! Oh! They also make really really really good shrimp and octopus cocktails. They’re definitely not shiesty on their shrimps and octopuses. The cocktail is like ceviche style but with the good seafood. Goes really well with tortilla chips or saltine crackers. Their large cocktail can probably feed 3. Other than fish tacos and their cocktails, I’ve never had anything else there. BUT! You really can’t go wrong with just ordering these two items. Parking is decent, I always find parking. They do get busy during lunch hours. There’s also outside seating.

Literally the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. If u go here you have to get the fish tacos. They’re cheap and filling. On a hungry day I could do 3 to fill me… Also try the shrimp ceviche. I usually get a big order of that to bring to parties it’s so good. I love taco nazo There’s a drive through but I wouldn’t get the fish tacos Togo… They’re best when eaten right away. Parking lot is pretty small so sometimes it’s hard to find parking.

As good as it gets. Best Mexican food around. I’ve heard plenty of hype about their fish tacos, and even though I didn’t order one myself, I took a bite out of my friend’s taco and instantly regretted not getting one for myself. Next time. Chicken Burrito Combo($ 8.98) I ended up getting the combo which comes with a side of rice, beans, and chips. The burrito was delicious. It comes with your choice of meat, cheese, rice, beans, onions, cilantro. And although this isn’t your Chipotle-sized burrito, it’ll fill you up nicely. The combo also comes with a fountain drink, so hydrate up! This was my first but definitely not last time here. A+ food!
