I have to take my daughter to cheer every Tuesday and I’m in the south Elgin area we usually hit Portillo’s on the way home. I decided to go to Jersey Mike’s and I’m so very glad I did! Bryan was working the register and Wow was he welcoming and friendly, he upsold, he made sure I had a rewards number, and really gave me a lot of information about the charitable donations that go through Jersey Mike’s. I was extremely impressed with this young man and his customer service, we will definitely be coming back next Tuesday!

I’m giving this place 5 stars since it’s my son favorite place to eat and I’ve never seen so happy with food, which is sad cuz I would like for him to enjoy my cooking as much as he does his Italian sub with jalapeño chips that he gets here.
I personally think the sandwiches are above average than most sub places and the staff is great, super upbeat and just all around a fun place to grab a bite.

Jimmy Johns has really gone downhill because of a ridiculous corporate policy… All I wanted was a Slim #5 and asked for hot peppers on the side. I was told I could not have them because you can’t get ANYTHING extra with a Slim even though I offered to pay for them. I was told that I could order an 8″ Sub and ask for extra hot peppers with everything else removed. Does anyone else think this is a corporate policy meant to save $ 0.20 per sandwich only to lose a family of 5 customer for life? I won’t be back and neither with my family.

Always fresh, fast and friendly. Fresh cut meats and cheeses, and a fantastic amount of oil and vinegar. I’m from Jersey and it really is a taste of home!

Can’t believe I didn’t try this place sooner! Whatever sandwich or wrap you get. Get it Mike’s way! Try the red sweet chili sauce on the side.

I am so impressed with this store! I ordered my sandwich, they were friendly and made it quickly. I got in the car and realized it was chicken, not beef. I came back to the store and after telling the young lady the sandwich they made was chicken, not beef, I realized I made the mistake and gave them the wrong number… The man who was cooking was very friendly and made me a new one. They would not let me pay, even though it was my own fault, and let me keep the chicken one, as well!

I’ve been a huge fan of Jersey Mike’s subs for years now, ever since I discovered their (back then) new location in Streamwood. I’ve eaten at many of their locations, and this one in South Elgin is my new haunt. Even an hour before closing (when I usually stop by, since I’m a night owl) their subs are fresh and tasty as can be. This is such a refreshing change from every Subway, where you’ll get their stale leftovers if you dare stop in after 6 PM.
The employees here are super duper friendly, very fast, and keep the place squeaky clean. Though, I’ve never been to an unfriendly Jersey Mike’s.

Great, fresh subs. Outstanding customer service. The club sub is our favorite. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the subs are pricey and they get soggy quickly with the oil and vinegar. Get the relish and Mike’s Way and you will not be be disappointed.

Personally, I love Jersey Mikes. It is one of the best sandwich places I have been to. The service is unmatched, the meat fresh as can be, and the sandwiches delicious. If you want a good sandwich and great service, head to Jersey Mikes!

I’m a Jersey Mike’s convert. I love vinegar, and the fact that they will give you as much as you want on your sandwich makes me happy. The ingredients are always fresh, plus they have a wheat option. Honestly though, the thing about this location that has Made me a regular is the Customer Service. Tonight there was a problem with my total. I caught it, mentioned it, and Mike, behind the counter, more than made up for it. That’s how you run a business… keep the customer happy. I will now be back, I’ve written this review, and I’ll tell my friends about Jersey Mike’s Instead of the opposite. I could just as easily Have gone to Jimmy John’s next time, but now, I won’t!!! JM’s has earned my sub sandwich business.

I’m a big JM fan. Though I feel when you pay top dollar for a sub your vegetables should look good and appealing to the eye. Your lettuce shouldn’t be brown. So instead of being cheap why not put fresh veggies on there? I don’t really want to eat on my sub what expired yesterday or the day before so you can save money. Would you eat brown lettuce on your sub? Especially when a giant sub cost more than your employees earn in an hour. If your going to be charging top dollar for a sub then give people what they pay for. I will not eat here again. Disgusting!

The subs are great, fresh cut meat and cheese, the bread is always awesome! The people who work there are always very pleasant and are great to talk with too. All in all a great place to grab a sandwich.

Easily the top national chain sandwich shop that I eat at. Staff is always very friendly and chatting you up. Meats for the sandwiches are cut fresh for you. Choice of veggies and condiments make it nearly impossible to get a bad sandwich. I mean, its your creation after all.
One thing to note, any sandwich can be made into a wrap. Recently, I have discovered that the Big Kahuna on a white wrap, uncut, is one of the best steak burrito’s I can get in the area.
One other note, I love the new online ordering and app they have for their stores. Love being able to send my order, then just drive through and pick it up on my way to work, instead of waiting in line. Very easy to do as well. +1 for that option!

I really enjoy Jersey Mike’s chain of subs– and this particular location is no exception. The space is fairly small, it definitely couldn’t host large groups, but is welcoming and was very clean. The employees were having a great time working together, were bantering back and forth in a friendly manner, singing, etc. which I thought was a lot of fun. They made our sandwiches quickly, and they were delicious. I will definitely be back to this location in the future. I’ve also noticed some coupons for this location in the local coupon mailers, so you can look for those as well.
