Dani La’rose Salon and Spa

I went to the salon and treated myself to a day of relaxation. I received a pedi by Tinisha and I enjoyed myself. The massage chair is very relaxing. I then went and saw Terry who did my facial. First time getting one and it was amazing. Also received a haircut and style by Angelic, the new salon manager and I will def be back. The atmosphere is different, in a good way, now that management has changed. If you are looking for a salon to get everything done in one place… def go there.

If it was possible to give this place 0 stars, I would. I called one morning and asked if they had a 6:30−7ish pm mani/​pedi appointment available. She said she could take me at 6. So I arrived around 5:50pm and it was clear that she had just started a mani on a walk-​in. About 6:20 the only woman working in the salon asked me to pick a color and she drew up the water for a pedi. At 6:40 she came over and changed out the cold water; she was still working on the walk-​in mani and had yet to apologize or update me on the delay. At 7pm, I dried my feet, put my shoes back on and started to walk out the door. She caught me as I was leaving and asked what the problem was. I was appalled! I explained that I requested a 6:30 appt and was asked to come at 6, so I did. Then I waited over an hour with nothing said to me, and she then informed me she needed about 15 – 20 more minutes with the other client. I told her I didn’t have 3 more hours in evening to wait; I was supposed to have a 1 hour appointment at 6pm, and should have been done and out the door just after 7, but it takes her an hour and a half to do just 1 mani, so I couldn’t wait any longer. At that point she did apologize and offered the service for free. I had to decline due to time constraints.
The lack of empathy and professionalism was disturbing. I will not go back!

My grandma and I walked in, looking to both get Pedicures. A woman greeted us and told us about the services. No patrons in here whatsoever, so I’m thinking — great, we can get this done fairly quickly. One woman was finishing up her manicure, so I said I would get started with a quick mani with this other manicurist while the other finished up. Then, they offered to give my grandma a haircut since she was bored sitting there waiting. The woman who gave my grandma the haircut took a phone call (there are not a lot of people employed here, apparently) and the woman on the end of the call talked to the woman cutting my grandmas hair for 20 min. Boy, was grandma UPSET!
Meanwhile, the first manicurist finished her guests mani and my manicurist had to ring her up — that took a good 10 minutes where I sat alone.
Then, I go to get my pedicure, and more patrons start walking in. My pedi lady (same woman) left for 25 minutes to go wax a girl. in the middle of my foot scrub.
Ladies — get it together! Hire more people, or close shop. You cannot just stop what you’re doing to attend someone else, because you think you can knock them out quickly.
Needless to say, I will not return and I hope if anyone does decide to go, to expect to have your «spa» session interrupted. Oh. and grandma never got her pedicure.
2 Stars because the Russian woman who gave me a mani/​pedi was pretty funny, and we talked /​got along well. Also, it’s pretty inside.

Not only is the salon beautiful but I had one of the best pedicures I have ever had by Alana! Make sure you ask for her she is amazing! I will definitely will be coming back in the future!
