Very nice and AFFORDABLE place to get your hair cut. Even cheaper if you go on a Monday. Last time I went it was something like $ 7 for a cut. $ 7!!! Crazy right? My girls always get layers and bangs and they’re perfect. So if you’re used to paying $ 50+ bucks for a cut, stop by here and tip the ladies. They’re worth it. Have gone with Jackie and Janet and both have been great. Even at that ridiculous rate, they take time to blow dry your hair even a little and make sure you leave presentable. Always go here with my girls. Can’t beat it really, especially when there’s nothing even close to this price around my Downey area. And i believe you can make an appt if you’re having coloring or something that is time consuming. Otherwise, come in, sign in and wait your turn.

This place is definitely an «around the way» place. Not in a bad way tho. We were there for about 30 min and seems like the women who walked in knew all the stylists. I can only assume they are regulars. I tool my son to Cassie to get a haircut. She did a great job. My son squirms every time we take him to Pelitos. Cassie was warm and welcoming and seem to put Matthew at ease. I was definitely surprised @ the way he didnt freak out and Cassies job. A boy cut goes for ten bucks vs. 16 – 17 they charge @ Pelitos.
All in all we will be back for sure. Thanks Cassie

The last time I went to this place it had $ 6.00 haircuts on Mondays, regularly 12.00 I believe. Nothing fancy just a cut, no wash but it’s nice to get my tips trimmed for $ 6.00-$ 12.00 vs. 55.00+ salons charge. I just need a trim and nothing fancy so this is perfect. I have gotten my hair colored there as well. My hair goes past my waist and they have a very fair price.
