Smells gross in here ! Eveytime I decide to eat waba I order to go it smells like dirty restroom inside
Been here a couple of time the manager «Maria» very rude very bad customer service

Two visits to this location and I’m cetain of two things. Smells like dirty restroom inside and food seems of lower quality compared to other locations. Will keep driving across the city to the location on State and Slauson.

Just got off work and decided to eat here. Its actually my first time the Food in this place was delicious. the restaurant is nice and clean, they have many of tables to sit and eat comfortable very satisfied. Almost done with my bowl

This Waba grill location has only been here for a year and of all the times I been here Ive has always been a good experience. They keep the tables, chair, floors, and everything else clean. The employees are really friendly and have your food ready fast. Now the only reason why I rated a 4 out of 5 stars is that this location closes earlier than most other Waba locations. It closes at 9pm and I usually get off of work at that time. It would be much convenient if they were to stay open 1 more hour. But I’d choose Waba over most other healthy fast food places.

Service and food are okay. But why do they never have fresh iced tea when I go! grr. Damn thing is always empty or never made for the day. Hit or miss on that.
They also charge you for extra veggies if you get no rice in your chicken bowl.

Bad experience although food was good the service was horrible. They took forever to make my food. Tables were dirty and the area around the sauces was also dirty. The girl upfront was rude and looked like she did not want to be there. I asked for a rag to clean my table and she gave me napkins haha

WaBa Grill is your average healthy teriyaki fast food restaurant similar to others such as Yoshinoya, Golden Bowl and The Flame Broiler. If comparing the mentioned WaBa grill would be the better option in my opinion as far as overall rating.
I’ve tried most of the items on the menu and the one that I would recommend is the Salmon plate with brown rice. Comes with white rice (brown optional) a salad and seasonal fruit. The bowls come with choice of protein, rice and mixed veggies. Also, many of their other dishes are good too like the beef ribs and shrimp skewers.
So why only 3 stars? Because it’s just that «A-​OK» nothing special yet still a good, healthy and satisfying meal.
