Amazing store. It’s small but customer service is wonderful. Good old fashioned customer service, you have a question or are looking for something and they will lead you to it. Unlike big box stores such as Home Depot where you ask a question (if you can even find an employee) they say they don’t know or not my department.
This was one of the last places I knew to get a window screen frame rescreened. Also a few years ago I needed a kitchen faucet for an old sink. I went to HD and the only one they had did not suit my needs (maybe they did have it but couldn’t find a helpful employee that could say something other than «whatever’s there». I found one at Zieglers that exceeded my expectations.

I went out of my way to support small business’ and I’m glad I drove the extra 5 minutes. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the cashier and the only other worker. He immediately came to help me and found me everything I needed, plus useful information. When I went to pay, the cashier was just as nice, telling me more great tips and even gave me a discount for no reason! I had to go back and was treated the same, if not better. Don’t be intimidated by the location, they speak English! Haha!

Truth be told I only went into the store because Jake Gyllenhaal was around. One of the last scenes in the movie Zodiac was filmed there, that and I needed window screen repairs cause… yeah I had to break into my house (long story don’t ask). When you walk in the store it’s a bit overwhelming there is stuff everywhere but somehow they know exactly where everything is. Overall very nice, helpful and educated staff… they actually know what they are talking about not like the idiots they hire at evil Home Depot. Will definitely return for all my household/​breaking into to household (cause I forgot my keys) needs.

This place is a life saver, I’ve had to make many emergency runs here to fix stuff around the house. It’s a little shop but they have most everything you need. The service is awesome. Everyone is friendly and there is Julian who is a really cool older guy that has walked me through many plumbing projects.

Ziegler’s, your one stop shop! I stopped in this local hardware store to check on paint prices and was extremely pleased with my experience. This place may look a little overwhelming when you walk in, but the friendly and helpful staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for (Clark+Kensington paint and primer). I left with two gallons of paint, paint supplies, fertilizer, a pair of keys, and even a set of ice cube trays!

A neighborhood hardware store smacked in the middle of the mile. It’s packed with all your small home improvement needs. And is great for that quick run for last min item.
