I recently moved to South Hadley and found Serenity when strolling through the Village Commons one day. I had attended beginner classes at various locations in the Worcester area but never stuck with it. I started attending the beginner class and the instructor was very welcoming and guided me at my level. The setting is also very cozy and comfortable. I’d highly recommend Serenity to anyone at any level.

As a treat for my birthday, my best friend made reservations for us to have a yoga session at this wonderful studio. I had the pleasure of joining in a Sunday morning All Levels Yoga session with Michele. Michele was upbeat and friendly from the minute we walked in and gave us a quick overview of the yoga studio and what was needed to set up our spots within the class. Having been both mine and my friend’s first time at this location, we weren’t sure what to expect. The classes are walk-in friendly, but they do have a convenient website that allows for reservations to be booked. It appeared many attending this class were regulars and used the on-line reservation tool. The yoga studio is located in the South Hadley commons, and it is just that: a studio. It is decorated with calming and soothing colors, the temperature was very comfortable, and all of the props are provided at no additional cost. Between being a newcomer, their website, and our general first impression with Michele, this is a very organized and welcoming studio. I’m mostly familiar with Kundalini yoga, so the All Levels Yoga branched me out into other forms. I can honestly say I loved this class. Michele was such a wonderful instructor! She guided us through a series of floor and standing work, and was helpful in realigning us throughout the poses, while not disturbing the class in the process. The class was just over an hour long and had us leaving rejuvenated and relaxed. A great way to start the week! While the location is quite the drive from where I live, I’m hoping to join in on a evening class or a weekend class in the coming future. It had that great of an impact on me. Namaste!
