My search for a good barber shop ends here. The place was packed on the day I went and it had a bunch of regulars. Tim and Craig made me feel comfortable which by itself was impressive but when it got down to business they raised the bar so high that I’m afraid I may not like to get my haircut elsewhere if and when I move. It sure did take a while but the result was the best haircut I had had across two continents in 27 years. Time for me to become a regular.

I haven’t paid for a haircut and it showed. Tired of looking sketchy and living far far away from my hometown barbershop I stumbled upon Werks. No appointments, cash only, keep it simple stupid. I had no clue what I wanted and Craig was really helpful. You don’t get a haircut here, you get an experience. I will definitely be back.

The Werks is unlike any other barbershop you’re accustomed with. It’s a two seat shop and really focuses on the social aspect of the old traditional style barber where guys are guys and it’s a no-​holds-​barred atmosphere. Come here for a good time and to get a legit cut. No quick clippers here. Proper shaves are a treat as well. Tim and Craig are great guys and hilarious too. I’ve been going there for 10 years. Word to the wise, no appointments and be prepared to wait a bit for a cut. Go a different day if you are in a rush. Outside of that, get in and don’t be shy. If you aren’t into sharing stories, cracking jokes, tossing around adult vocabulary and don’t have a thick skin this isn’t the place for you.

This place is what a barber shop should be. The quality of the haircut is a second consideration; go for the ambiance and stay for a great haircut at an awesome price. Tim and Craig are really good dudes, and they’ve built up a nice flow of regulars, of which I am now one.
My only gripe is that it’s cash only, but once I was done with my cut, Tim was nice enough to direct me to a TD Bank down the street. I’ll definitely be back.

After going to the same place for the past 7 or 8 years I decided to make a change. I am happy I did. Great haircut great guys.

I came into this shop a few hours before my wedding 8 days ago. Tim and Craig were awesome and really eased the big day stress with good stories and conversations about anything and everything. I can in solely for a straight blade razor shave to edge up my beard. Craig took care of me solid, classic old school hot towel shave with pre shave gel and all. Really no irritation to be seen in my photos 50 minutes later.
Craig also suggested getting my existing hair cut blended and trimmed up around the edges. He was right and I let him get after it and he did a great job. Really knocked it out of the park and styled it better than I could have ever done myself. Couldn’t have been happier with my experience and if I am in the area I might just pop in for a cut or a shave. Hell, I might make the drive just for a haircut and shave. Check them out.

Went in for a trim and a hot shave with the groomsmen for my buddy’s wedding. They came in on an off day, they take their time and do an excellent job. Great guys who take pride in their craft.

Great staff!!! Tim has the softest hands imaginable. Feels like I’m laying naked in a box full of puppies. Craig is also great. For someone not having any hair himself, he sure can work a pair of clippers. Have so much fun I always find myself tipping them like a dime piece stripper. Would definitely recommend. But bathroom is a little tight to change a baby.

Never had a bad cut from here! Tim and Craig know what they’re doing. Even if there’s a wait it’s always entertaining!

I went on a Saturday morning around nine thirty. All the chairs were full so I thought that was a sign of a good barber shop. I got a great cut but also had a great experience. The guys there (barber and customers) were great to talk with even though I had never met them before. I will be coming here from now on.

Tim and Craig run a great place! I had no idea where to take my recently relocated to the area 91yr. old dad for a cut. I found Werks on Unilocal.We did not wait long, Tim took really good care of my dad and he looks great! We will be back next time he needs a cut, for sure!

This is the best barbershop I’ve ever had the pleasure to walk into. I live in Boston, and still drive out to South Hadley to get my haircuts.
Tim and Craig are great guys, and highly-​skilled barbers… Not easy to find. From the first time I walked into this shop to now, I’ve always left happy.

THE place to get a haircut around here. These guys are awesome. Sit down, watch the game, read a magazine… Whatever. This is what a barber shop is SUPPOSED to be. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live anywhere near here.
