Every time my family and I visit South Haven from Chicago we make a point to stop at Al-​Van Humane Society’s Resale Shop. The store is run by wonderful, friendly and charismatic volunteers who are dedicate their personal time to the community and well being of animals. The second time we visited the store we ended up adopting a cat named Wllie Mae who was a perfect addition to our family. We were amazed how well the cat was taken care of at the shelter. Kathy recognizes us every time we visit the store. This is certainly my family’s favorite highlight in South Haven. Thank you for your hard work and for helping animals in need.
