Best hospitality best bbq amazing experience overall!!! I can’t get this in Phoenix Arizona

Some of the best food I have ever have enjoyed. The BBQ was amazing and sides were great. The woman behind the counter was one of the nicest person I have met. It may not look like a million dollars from the outside but it sure tasted like it. Enjoy!

Most amazing BBQ I have ever had in my life. A must have whenever I’m in town. It’s a little house in the boonies, but don’t let its appearance blind you about their food!!!

Everyone is right… this was my 1^st visit and all 3 of us had the rib tips. The serving size is very large, so don’t order the large rib tips unless you want to take some home.
The only thing I can add that other reviews did not… you can get the bbq sauce mixed as ½ hot and ½ regular.

Ribs were good, will definitely be back next time I’m in town (which is annually). The spicy sauce is the way to go.

Eager to try due to Unilocal reviews. Very friendly spot but food was just so so for us. Sauce was a bit sweet but we enjoyed smokiness of ribs. We should have passed on the chicken because we didn’t care for it.

Great ribs, coleslaw and fries. The owners are super friendly and provided samples of onion rings, fried corn, and rib tips. Dinner for 2 adults and two children for $ 31 plus $ 6 tip. We’ll be back!

I like fall-​off-​the-​bones ribs (these are not). That’s the only reason why I give it 4 stars. Other than that, the sauce is awesome. The place was BUSY, which is a good sign. Loved the fried mushrooms and the fries w sauce on it! Yum!

Awesome Ribs! The spicy BBQ sauce is on point. You can put it on your fries or anything. Huge portions so I had to take a box to go as well. Really nice people and awesome setting to just sit down and kill some ribs! The lady gave us free samples too. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely go back!

This place was AMAZING!!! There was not one negative thing about this place. The owners are truly nice and authentic people. They must be doing this because they want to spread the love and joy. The wife gave me and the buddy as well as other customers samples of many menu items. She took the time and showed us around their little joint.
The rib tips were nice and meaty with a good amount of Fat on them. The ribs were just massive and meaty. I have been to a few bbq joints and this is definitely at the top! I drove a good half an hour and will be coming back before they close for the season. I would be willing to drive an hour for this food. The sauce was Fantastic; it had tang, a bite, and heck of a smoke flavor. Going to go back to try the chicken!
They told me that after 13 years they are trying to sell the place, because her husband is already holding down a full-​time gig working 12hours a day… Again they must be doing this for the love and joy. Well thank you for serving great food and offering great hospitality! We were in town for work and you made us feel like locals! You will not beat the price for what they offer. Wish there was an extra star hahaha. For the money you get great food, great portions, and great hospitality.

The best food in south haven. This is the real deal. Treated like an old friend. Was offered a sample before I ordered. The food was amazing. Not much to look at. But once you tie into your food who cared?

First time here, we had a little trouble finding it but persistence pays off ! We both had a half rack of ribs w/​cole slaw and baked beans. All of the food was delicious we both

The hot sauce is amazing and smoky, and it goes well with anything – fries, onion rings, their amazing, healthy ribs, and their hot wings.

The ribs and the wings were amazing and very authentic! The owner was very friendly and gave us samples of many other items.

We read the reviews on this place before taking the bikes from Detroit to South Haven. The high ratings got our attention so we figured we’d give Perry and Brenda a whirl. We were blown away by how nice and generous they were. Brenda gave us generous samples of onion rings and catfish. AND cornbread. It was all really tasty. The ribs were awesome. We took some home and ate on them again the next day. Crazy good! Definitely coming back and recommending them to all our friends.

By far the best ribs I’ve had!!! Actually, everything here is amazing, including the beans, potato salad, etc. The service and hospitality are outstanding! Wish we lived closer so we could enjoy this hidden gem more often!

So good! Perfectly fried catfish, tasty BBQ on very tender ribs and wonderful owners too boot. Before we left they gave us a free sample of the onion rings… Would definitely order those next time.

Perry makes a mean slab of ribs! He’s just a one man show but his stuff is delicious! He’s a real nice guy too. We highly recommend this place! A true hole-​in-​the-​wall local gem!

I never understand why there isn’t a line out the door of this place OR why there aren’t a million reviews.
They should definitely do some marketing. A Facebook Page. A menu online. Something!
Ranch House is a small hole in the wall on M140 in South Haven right near Covert.
Family run, the Mom made the ribs and her daughters took the order and put it together. Great people.
Quite simply, the food was great. The ribs were smokey tasting and I enjoyed the mild bbq sauce. Meat was falling off the bone. Fries were crispy. Cole slaw good.
Also tried the pulled pork. Great tasting, no complaints.
They have a few tables inside. I always order out.

I do, I do!
But, do I like ribs enough to go to this hole-​in-​the-​wall place? You bet your sweet bbq sauce.
On the way to the beach we saw this little place with a smoker out back and I knew it was inevitable that we’d go here. There were three reviews on Unilocal,all of which held it in high regards.
We first tried toi get take out on a tuesday but decided to call, only to discover they are only open Thurs-​Sunday for about 4 hours a day. So Thurday came and we took the trip.
if you looked up hole-​in-​the-​wall in the dictionary this place is listed next to the mouse hole picture. The place is run by one guy who put our meal together — a full slab of ribs, beef tips and half a chicken. All that smothered it his sauce. And that feast was $ 35. They do take credit card but that seems shady at a place like that.
There are a few tables in and outside but I suggest take out. Also call ahead if its near close to be sure they have ribs left.
