Los Cocos

Los Cocos is the go to spot here in South Hill. My boyfriend and I have gone there once (sometimes twice) a week for the past two years! We love it! We try other Mexican places when we travel, but we always find ourselves wishing we were at Los Cocos instead. Not only is the food great, but the service is FANTASTIC. Our waiters are always so nice and great at what they do. It is such a nice establishment and a great treasure in a small town!

Our family eats here regularly and we’ve never been disappointed. Other negative reviewers sound snobby and difficult to please. The chips are always hot and fresh, the salsa is wonderful. Perfect balance of flavor and heat. The cheese dip is always addicting and the guacamole is fresh and flavorful. I always get the chicken burrito and I pour salsa on top. The shredded chicken is always hot and juicy. It is delicious! My daughters love the cheese enchiladas and always eat everything. They love the rice and we usually have to order extra. My husband gets the fried chimichangas and they are covered in cheese sauce, so good! The fajitas are always hot and fresh. The drinks are always on point and the service is wonderful. They really do strive to make the customer happy. Very friendly people and quality food. Don’t pay any regard to the stuffy, petty reviews. Anyone who prefers Taco Bell (bleh) to authentic Mexican food isn’t to be trusted with a review here. We’ve eaten here hundreds of times and have never had a bad meal.

I’ve been eating here since I was in school. I’ve always loved this place. Good food, good prices. Food is usually ordered and to the table in less than 10 minutes, even when they’re busy.

Not quality Mexican, but it’s cheap and quick. It’s better than Taco Bell. The fajitas were bland and salsa watery. The service was good and fast though.
