the store itself is clean and huge with allot of options, BUT the staff could use some work! one of the girls Leslie was horrible! she looked like she could use some sleep since she had big o bags under her eyes but that should not excuse the way she treats people. She was rude got annoyed when asked questions and had a weird face like if she was constipated or something. Feel bad for the girl looks like shes got problems at home probably has like 3 kids to feed and has to work at a sex shop. I will definitely take my business elsewhere to someone who appreciates their customers!!!

«Big daddy» was SO helpful!!! I was looking for a toy that will do the trick! And he was very useful. His girlfriend and I share the same «hard to please» (takes a while to «finish») problem. He knew exactly what I needed! I suggest coming here! This place is NOT for cheap asses! You get what you pay for and this toy is definitely worth the $ 102!

FYI — No public restrooms. Owner is an ass about it also. I can spend my money elsewhere.

I hadn’t been here in a few years but thought I’d stop by while I was in town. Since my last visit, they have renovated and it looks amazing. It’s so clean and friendly, like walking into a Sephora or an Ulta. The layout is easy to navigate and there are always people ready to help.
The selection of toys is incredible. You want it; they got it. Everything is organized by brand so whether you’re looking to splurge or save, or if you’re looking for rubber vs silicone, you have plenty of options. Also, there are test stations for just about every vibrator so you can find just the speed and rotation suited to you.
You’ve never seen a wider variety of lube as big as this one either. There is a whole wall dedicated to every kind you can imagine with all different functions. And most of them have all the information you’d want, like ingredients and purposes, posted right next to each item. Having sensitive skin, I was happy to find a great lube that was not only pH balanced and water-​based, but vegan as well!
Couples, as well as singles, will find everything you need to spice things up. Eros has lots of lingerie to lust after. Or if you’re looking for something kinkier, there is a section in the back for all your leather and/​or metal goods. Or maybe y’all gave been inspired by the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. I saw a great display up featuring a DVD walk-​through for couples, including Mr. Grey’s actual necktie and silk restraints.
The employees are also very kind and helpful. If you want help, just ask. If you prefer to browse in private, they won’t bother you. And they’re all very knowledgeable.

Mind blowing selection of… well everything! Very clean and open retail space. Staff professional and courteous. Even though it’s a little out of the way, totally worth the trip. Truly a superstore!

A good friend of mine recommended this place and I am so thankful. This store was amazing. I counted 4 aisles dedicated to lube. I never knew there were so many brands, flavors or varieties. I was shopping for something pretty specific, and they had 4 different items to choose from, all at different price points. As far as stores of this nature, I’ve been to the rest, this place is the best!

Okay, so after reading Jolyn’s review, I had to check this place out. Every novelty store I’d been to in Texas was shady as hell with the creepiest workers and customers. It is never a good sign to walk into a place and be afraid to touch door handles. Ew.
Eros is completely different. It is not in the best area of town, but the store itself is well lit with plenty of parking. The video selection was pretty wide and surprisingly inclusive considering we live in Texas. The lingerie collection was not bad either.
I think the toy selection was a little disappointing. As we were leaving, the saleslady asked if we checked out the Leather Room. Evidently we hadn’t, but it was late and I had work this morning, so it was a no go. Supposedly that’s where all their «nice» stuff was.
While we were there, one worker was lounging around and refused to help anyone (though, do you blame him? I wonder how many teens walk through there and ask him to take out everything in the case just to giggle about it?!). The other worker was incredible. She knew her stuff. And she enjoyed her job. Made all the difference in the world since their categorization of the movies is awful. Call me a nerd, but library science should be applied to all things on shelves. (Please note the review of Nan’s Comics and Games that Jeni S. wrote since I was too lazy to write one myself and she summed it up perfectly.)
The crowd itself was not too «dirty» either. I didn’t feel like every guy in the store was staring at me cause I was a female. For the most part, people kept to themselves, found what they were looking for, and left.
This is probably as good as it will get in Houston as far as stores go. I’m a little spoiled after enjoying the amazing Hustler store in LA, so take that into consideration. Definitely a fun place to go, especially if you’re a porn store virgin.

Eros is the greek God of lust so its fitting for this megastore of adult novelties, stripper clothes, gag gifts, lingerie and videos. Everyone on the south side knows about the place! The prices are great, the salespeople will treat you right, and the array of products is enough to make you blush! So if you’re on the south side, or want to go to an adult store but not run into your neighbor/​coworker/​mailman, head over!
