This is a great range with friendly helpful people and great lighting. This is by far the best of the three indoor ranges we have used in the Clear Lake area because of the lighting. Most of the ranges have good lighting at the target and firing line bench, but when you lift you weapon it is in a dark area making the sights hard to see. Not so at Marksman; the sights are well illuminated and easy to see. A Bonus: it is the least expensive of the ranges.

First time visiting a range, the staff made me feel very comfortable, explained everything in detail, showed me around, and even fixed my magazine for my gun. Definitely will return to practice target shooting whenever in the area. Great place with a lot of bang!
They need to upgrade their parking due to population, we had to park across the street in front of closed building, fearing towing.

Lucky for us one of the best ranges in town is also the closest one to us. Love the staff. Always a familiar face. Prices have gone up but still cheaper than most places in town. Was just there today (labor day) and the place was jam packed. Women shoot free on Monday so we only paid $ 14 for my husband, myself and two extra targets.

Really inexpensive. Excellent customer service and really knowledgeable staff. The one bad thing, and its important: The stalls of the shooting lane do not go all the way up to the ceiling. My neighbors shells would eject, go up over the wall and land on my head while I was shooting. Needless to say this is a distraction that can become an annoyance. If they fixed this one issue it would be the perfect range!

I have been going to Marksman since I have owned a gun. They are very professional, kind and knowledgeable. Nelson is my go-​to guy for anything. I have had a couple bad jams that I couldn’t clear. All I had to do is ask and they took care of it.
I have taken many family members and friends to this range and they are now regulars or return customers. My older sister was completely afraid of guns, and it took some convincing to get her comfortable. Once we got there, Nelson gave her some additional safety pointers, she got the targets she wanted, and shredded some paper. She enjoyed the experience and we brought her classmates from France & China out to this range as well. (They don’t have as liberal gun laws where they’re from)
Overall, I love this place. Give it a shot. (Sorry for the bad pun)

This shooting range is fucking awesome. The workers are really helpful, nice, & knowledgable. Spent a couple hours here. The ammunition was pretty decent in price. The targets were cheap also. Y’all definitely should come here to shoot guns.

The Marksman Range is the BEST place to go shooting. Low entry fee ($ 8 per person, $ 10 if you are shooting a shotgun), great business hours (12pm — 10pm every day), unlimited shooting time, and no extra fees for bringing multiple guns. You get one free target, but they sell a variety of different targets as well. Hearing and eye protection are provided for free. On top of all that the employees are very friendly and helpful, unlike a lot of other ranges that I’ve been to. Women shoot for free on Mondays.

Good range, Great customer service. Most importantly, very inexpensive! I paid a total of 10 bucks for a lane and two extra targets. The cost of the lane is 8 bucks with one target included.

probably the best indoor range value in town. the lane prices are very reasonable (10 – 12 bucks) and their range ammo prices are in line with most independent gun stores. they are open until 10pm, so you can easily get off work, get some grub, and then go get some range time. staff has always been attentive and knowledgeable. great overall experience.

We came in here for the first time tonight. The prices were the best in town from the gun range price to the actual gun prices their selves. We met with Nelson and we literally asked him a million questions and he never got tired of answering. He helped us a lot and great customer service. It is only 8 $ a person and woman shoot free Monday! Best place around. Highly highly recommend.

DON’T MISS THIS PLACE PLACE. Went to Marksman for the first time and, wow, it was a real pleasure. It was a weekday and there were lanes available without a wait. The staff was courteous and exceedingly helpful. I brought my own ammunition and they, unlike other ranges, do not require that you buy ammunition from them, but in checking the prices their prices for ammo are exceedingly fair and I won’t have to buy ammo before going to the range since I can buy what I need there.

Excellent place to go practice your shooting. It is very cheap to rent. It is 8 bucks per person to shoot all day no matter what type of gun. You can also leave (i.e. grab lunch) and then come back granted its on the same day. Comes with one bulleyes target each, but additional targets are inexpensive.
Went on a Saturday afternoon and there were a few lanes open. Very friendly and attentive service. I inquired about ammo (didn’t buy) but the prices are comparable (slightly more expensive) than a Walmart. So if you happen to expend all the ammo you brought and want to unload a few more mags, they got you covered.
My friend bought a few magazines too.
Overall, very satisfied with my experience!

Very good place to go unload some rounds. The two gentlemen that work there are very nice and helpful, I’ve never been treated bad. They have a cover fee of $ 10 per person and Mondays I believe is $ 7 per person. I also recommend taking your own ammo because like every other range in Houston they have some over priced ammo, they have plenty of ammo in stock if you don’t mind spending some extra bucks. All n all it’s a good place, they have about 12 booths, you hardly ever have to wait and if you do it’s never more than a 20 min wait. Which is not bad because there is a nice lobby with a tv., Vending machines, and they always have coffee! For free!!! I recommend this place, check it out!

Incredibly nice staff and very convenient location in Pasadena. Mondays women shoot for free! It’s an indoor range and they let you shoot rifles and even shotguns. I went with a few coworkers and had a great time and some good practice. I will definitely go again, although I prefer outdoor ranges.
