I have waited since June 2015 to try these bad boys, and it was WELL worth it!!! I ordered the Oreo donuts and they are 100% SINFUL! They are delicate, melt in your mouth, and don’t sit heavy in your stomach after. Definitely worth the wait!

What’s not to like… Bite-size donuts freshly prepared as you eagerly watch the donut-maker drip dollops of batter into a fryer then hand-flip until golden brown. Heavenly will add toppings of your choosing but I prefer a simple dusting of powdered sugar. Be careful, these donuts are still hot from the fryer and will burn your mouth if not cautious. That’s why I purchase an ice cold milk to pair with the donuts. These hot donuts are the perfect breakfast before a long day of skiing on a cold winter’s day.

These are SO good. Doughy, warm, soft, little donut rounds. They have a lot of topping options, we just like the powdered sugar. Almost 7 bucks for 6 mini donuts though. But their location lets them get away with it because it’s right next to the gondola. Anyways, love this place!

Excellent customer service and very friendly! They had just closed yet saw our 3 year old daughter coming and opened back up for us. The donuts were excellent, piping hot, with just the right amount of toppings. Simply delicious. We will definitely be coming back after the kindness we received today.

This small place is a gem at the base of gondola. The smell of freshly fried tiny donuts invited us to the counter. We had just had lunch but we couldn’t resist trying some of Oreo donuts. They were fresh, fried to perfection and not over the top sweet. I haven’t had a crispier donut before. Their donuts being tiny, the quantity was just perfect for the 4 of us to share as we were not as hungry. We went again the next day and tried the one topped with chocolate, caramel sauce and coconut. Although these were not bad, we liked the Oreo donuts better. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to grab these tiny heavenly donut bites when in South Lake Tahoe.

Horrible service. They forgot to make our order after waiting there for 15 mins. We had to complain in order for them to actually realize they didn’t make our order.

Cute little booth right next to the Heavenly gondola. Tons of different topping combinations which all looked delicious. I went with the«pop tart» which had sprinkles, chocolate and graham crackers; I could eat that every day and live happy. My friend got the«s’mores» which was equally delicious. You can choose either ½ dozen or dozen, ½ was plenty for us. Plus the doughnuts are made on this little machine right in front of you. Staff is patient and cheery. Will definitely be back to try more combos!

Walked by this place once and it smelled so good, but didn’t try it out because we were headed to dinner. Came back to the area the nest day and decided to get a small bite since we’re only staying in Tahoe one more night. The workers were really friendly and had a sense of humor, which is a plus. The prices are kind of high, but I think it’s worth a try. I’m not a huge fan of donuts, but they were all gone before I was even able to snap a photo of the deliciousness. We only got half, but a dozen gives you the option of doing two flavors. It was really good fresh and hot. It wasn’t overly sweet and everything about it was just right. It’s probably the best donut I’ve had in a long time. I’m usually sick of donuts after a few bites, however this was too good to stop.

Most glorious donuts I’ve ever had! This place is right next to the Heavenly gondola and they offer freshly fried mini donuts with all sorts of wonderful toppings. We had the s’more donuts and the Patsy’s delight(pecan, caramel, white chocolate) and they were both delicious. The lovely guys running the place let us sample the donuts beforehand. And of course, a dozen is a baker’s dozen :) Great place after a day in the cold!

So good!!! May be overly expensive, but when it’s so cold, and you see the little doughnuts being made hot and fresh, and w/all the customization options, how can you resist? That being said, I would encourage everyone to just get a half dozen. They’re clearly not good for you, and although yummy, the sauces definitely look very artificial.

Tried the basic donut since I don’t mine super sweet and it’s pretty good. We also ordered the ice-shave and since many flavors were all out, we picked coconut and blueberry flavors. I do not like to many so many negative comments about food in general, but it was distinguish. So, WARNING: Do NOT try the coconut and blueberry ice-shave.

Overpriced and over hyped donuts. At first, half a dozen donuts sounds like a lot, but the donuts are like the tiny mini donuts you get at the grocery store, which doesn’t seem worth the price. I also thought the pricing was pretty deceiving because you have to pay for any additional topping that is not powdered sugar, which wasn’t expressed until after I had ordered my s’mores donuts. The donuts themselves tasted like funnel cake, which smells delicious, but was way too oily for me. Really friendly customer service, but I would rather get dessert elsewhere in the complex.

Wow. Wow. Wow. 9AM. No Gondola and zip line happening that day. Where do I drown my sorrows? A few feet from the gondola entrance lay donut nirvana. 7 delightful little donuts covered in jelly and sprinkles and whipped cream. Do I need a fork? Perhaps if I were civilized I would. Instead I grabbed them one by one, devouring them as fast as I could pick them up. Once I hit the third one I came up for air. The sugar hit my bloodstream by then and I realized not only were these delicious but they were highly sugared up bundles of perfection. The river of donuts was fun to watch(such a cool little donut maker) but the sweet treat at the end was spectacular. I will remember this whenever I am in the area craving a sweet treat. Especially this winter — I might need a 7 pack for the ride home after a day on the mountain. I don’t rate this 5 stars — I rate it a bakers dozen of stars!

These were the perfect little donuts while waiting in line for the Gondola ride! We had 4 kids under 7 with us and they were able to each have one, after they cooled off! Hot out of the fryer and covered in yummy sugar. What a great location. Thanks for making the kids hapy Heavenly Donuts! Bonus: They even have wipes for you to take! Forty fingers full of sugar and this was a life saver!

How do you drown your sorrows when you find out the zipline tickets have already sold out for the day? You do it with the Ante-Up(S’more) donuts! Sugar always helps fade any disappointment I might have but don’t get it twisted, these donuts DONOTDISAPPOINT! I loved watching the donuts cascade down a river as they are fried and then end their journey right into my little paper holder! They aren’t done there though, no way! The donuts are then smothered in marshmallow sauce, lovingly dripped with chocolate sauce, then carefully caressed with crushed graham crackers. After all of that I am served these little pieces of heaven with a bright smile from the employees face, even they know how good these things are! I ate these with a fork because they are delightfully drippy but I am, after all, a lady! They are absolutely warm fluffy, doughy pillows of happiness. S’mores is not a revolutionary flavor but on a donut, it’s downright dream worthy! Add in the amazing service from the smiley, happy employees and I couldn’t wait to give this place a review. I’ll be back!

These are the best donuts I’ve ever had!!! Small funnel cake rings. I was drawn by the smell of funnel cake and then I realized it was Heavenly donuts! We ordered the S’mores donuts… They piled on the toppings and sauces and even gave us two extra mini donuts! Whatever this marshmallow sauce is… I must have one in my fridge at all times! Must try! Because I smile a lot, I was given the nickname smiley by the guy working there…(:

The name of this place is a fitting description for the donuts: Heavenly Bottom line: «It’s worth the wait«echoing the words of the girl who works behind the counter as she handed out candied cashews. After much deliberation, we went with 3 flavor combinations: Caramel/Dark chocolate, caramel/sprinkles, and pop tart flavored. The donuts are light, crispy flavored mini-donut pillows of sweet goodness. Texture and mixture is spot-on. I was drawn toward the raspberry & white chocolate drizzle on the pop tart flavor with sprinkles. As small as the donuts were, I could’ve eaten 50+ In the words of the comic book guy«best donuts ever» Until next time Heavenly Donuts, like tomorrow
