This place was almost comically bad in the service department. Every beer took at least 15 minutes to arrive, and the ribs took 45 minutes. Each time, I had to flag the waitress and ask her what was going on, at which point she reliably came up with a lie and 2 minutes later presto there’s my item. My GF asked for a piña colada and I asked for a beer. 15 minutes later, we had to flag her down. She said, ‘I don’t know why the beer is so slow,’ then came back a couple minutes later saying«we are out of piña colada mix.» We then asked for a margarita mix. Guess what? 2 minutes later, «We are out of margarita mix.» Really? So where’s my beer? My GF gave up and ordered a diet coke. Only then did my beer show up, after the waitress had made multiple trips to the bar. I watched her then pour my beer herself. So the waitress was friendly but just incredibly bad at her job, and the bartender was also slow. We asked what the fastest item on the menu was, and she said«The ribs come up really fast.» 45 minutes later, we asked about them, and she said, «Oh, I don’t know why they are so slow tonight.»(It was clear she had just forgotten them). The ribs were way too fatty for my taste, i can get much better here in Livermore. After we clearly had to wait multiple long times, and then said«would sure be nice if you bought us a beer for our troubles,» we did not get a free beer. At no time did she ever come back to say anything like«I know you are waiting, I’m doing my best,» etc or anything else resembling good service. Other customers around us were having the same experience, while some were getting reasonable service, so maybe I just was having a bad karma day, but I’ll never be back, that’s for sure!

OK service and simple bar food. Lot’s of TV’s so a good place to watch sports. Better places in SLT.

Let me start by saying I have a very low opinion of eating out in Tahoe in general. I find that the lack of competition(due to keeping development at a minimum which is important to keeping Tahoe pristine) makes most businesses here very sub-par to what I am used to. Don’t get me wrong, they are okay. It’s just that where I am from there are over a thousand restaurants in our county and they go way above and beyond to get, and keep, your business. Mo’s has bar food. It’s fine as far as bar food goes. It will help you curb the munchies while you are drinking. I do really like their projection screen that they put up for big game days. It’s a fun place to watch a game! They have pretty decent beer and happy hour prices. And they have pitchers which helps with the cost if you are drinking that much.

I don’t know why every other time I go in there it’s a totally different experience. It goes from good, to OK, then bad, then Ok again then back to bad. It’s frustrating because I like the owner. He is a very nice guy. But the staff is inconsistent. And I rarely feel like a local there. I’ve had good meals and I’ve had bad meals. I just never know what to expect each time. Shame because I live in walking distance and would like to go there more than I do.

Best chicken ceaser salads in town(get the chicken blackened). Very good food, nice staff. The place is huge and always clean.

Very friendly people and atmosphere is awesome. Generous portions and lots to offer. It’s a bit tucked away but it’s not a place you want to miss if you’re looking for a sports bar type place to kick back, watch the game and indulge. PS — the Veggie Portobello Sandwich is AmAziNg!

This place is a solid bar. Sat at the bar with my sister and we ordered 2 rum and red bulls. Well, I could have swarn the bartender just but some red bull in a class with some ice and was like«here ya go». We tasted it and it was our first drink of the night and it was so weak. We asked him if he put any rum in it and he said he did. We were about 2 seconds away from leaving to find another place that actually served real drinks and he came over with the bottle of rum and hooked us up. Finally, a real rum and red bull. Their food was actually really good. The menu was a little underwhelming looking but we ordered the fried zucchini and it was one of the best plates of fried zucchini I have ever had. Even better than my mothers. Sorry Mom. Then we wanted to order some more food but the kitchen just closed. They were kind enough to open the kitchen back up and make us some chicken strips, also delicious, and some onion rings. The chicken was hand dipped in batter and not just a frozen piece of chicken tossed in a fryer. They were so good. Perfect food after tons of drinks. We watched the Niner game(we lost!) but they had pleanty of tvs and a screen that the game was on so everywhere you looked there was the game. Pool tables, juke box and the normal local drunks. Got to love it. Great solid bar with awesome food.

Needed a place to watch the game for Sunday/Monday football. Jorge was by far one of the most attentive servers I’ve ever had, you would be very lucky to have him wait on you. Overall completely satisfied!

If there was a negative star rating, this place would get it. Staying at the Super8 just for a night and walked over to this place just to grab a beer. Maybe seven or eight people having drinks, and we’re totally ignored. I have patience, but I also have money to spend but if you can’t if say«be right with you folks» or any kind of acknowledgement, I’m outta there. Go elsewhere, this place doesn’t deserve your business.

This is a place to hang with your friends and have some beer. The drinks are weak, but that seems to be the thing for Tahoe, so I can’t blame that on Mo’s. Anyway, order beers, wine and hang out while munching on some nachos. Nothing upscale here.

I LOVE music… But for a sports bar, when the game is on, especially a playoff series for any sport, there’s no way the juke box should over power the game intermittently! Ordered the Cajun Tator tots… Only to find out that they ran out of tots the previous night. :-(Guess I’ll have to try those next trip. The Bloody Mary is decent. Definitely has a nice spicy kick that I like. The side salad is huge and I had to figure out how to navigate my way around the plate, which I have no complaints about! Service was quick and efficient. I also noticed some game board type games by the fireplace, in addition to two pool tables. Good sports bar atmosphere. I’d stop by again. *Note: Before finishing this review the bartender had actually walked over to turn up the tv and switch the juke box sound to the other room, though still a little loud in comparison. :-)

Definitely avoid this bar. It is dark and dingy and has a depressing atmosphere. There are plenty of fun local bars in South Lake and this is not one of them.

Used to go here for music events. Bartenders ignored me & I had to flag them down like a taxi in New York City. Bouncers, big mean dudes that scared everyone. Haven’t been back. Bad jou jou.

Great ambiance, tons of TV’s. Perfect place to pop in and watch a game. ANY game. They had several different games with different sports. When we walked in, the bartender immediately greeted us with a very enthusiastic personality. He was very welcoming, got us drinks and menus right away and continued to check in with us. Fabulous attitude! After he left, the waitress went around to all of the tables and introduced herself. Also very personable. All in all, great great place to go. Excellent service, excellent attitude, great surroundings. Food was«bar like» but exactly what I wanted with my beer and a game.

We bought a restaurant.com coupon here. We came in Friday night and the place was empty. We have a condo across the street and we’ve wanted to check it out for a while but the empty bar AND restaurant made me nervous. We had nothing to worry about because the manager told us they would not honor the coupon because they aren’t selling them anymore. They did sell this one though. She said she had been trying to use them up for the last 6 months and will not honor them anymore. They don’t expire and they aren’t new owners. I will never go there again and I’ll tell everyone about my experience. Obviously everyone in town already knows not to go there. I have never seen such a ghost town in south shore.

Finally a place that actually accepts certificates. We seriously went to 3 different places trying to use our certificates that we bought, but were told they don’t accept them anymore. Alas, we finally went to Mo’s, just a couple blocks away from my apartment and they told us they will accept it. It was Saturday around 2pm and they place was pretty much empty. We started off with Fried Calamari($ 8.99) since we always get it if it’s on the menu, but this wasn’t your average Calamari. It wasn’t served as small rings nor tentacles. They almost looked like miniature mozzarella sticks and thy were served with what I thought was marinara sauce, but turned out to be some sort of tarty ketchup( ). I really didn’t like it at all. The calamari was so oily and chewy. The sauce it came with didn’t even help because it was pretty much just ketchup. For our entrees, we ordered a mushroom burger($ 8.99) and a chili cheeseburger($ 8.99). They weren’t joking when they named this the«mushroom» burger. There was seriously a pile of fresh mushrooms inside it( ), so of course that was an automatic win for me. My boyfriend didn’t really seem to enjoy his chili cheeseburger, but he’s not much of a cheese person, so I don’t see why he ordered that anyway. He said there were too many really chunky onions though. We both really loved the seasoned fries that came with his burger. Perfectly crisp and seasoned. I definitely recommend trying them out. For dessert, we got a brownie sundae($ 6.99). It was ridiculously sweet, but what do you expect. The brownie seemed to have been just made, but also tasted like a microwave brownie. It was very soft and gooey on the inside, which is what made it too sweet for me. I just ate all the outer parts with the ice cream and whipped cream. All in all, I don’t think I’d come back here. After we ate here, we seriously spent an hour in the bathroom each and I don’t know which plate caused that because we shared everything. It just sucked because we had a wedding to shoot that same day. Also, the calamari was the worst I’ve had, so I don’t suggest you get that. If you do come here, you should try the mushroom burger and seasoned fries.
