This review is strictly based on Doctor Southard. I recently fractured my ankle extremely bad, and Doctor Southard has been my doctor. He is amazing! Very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He has years of experience and genuinely cares about his patients. I had surgery and he took his time, and put me back together better then I ever imagined. When in the office I have talked to other patients and they all rave about how wonderful he is and how well they healed. I have never cared much for the medical care I have received in Tahoe until now. If you are going to break a bone, do it in Tahoe. I’m not fully healed yet. It confident that if I follow doctors orders I will be better than to be expected. I am extremely happy I have Doctor Southard to be my doctor. I highly recommend him.

Dr Southard is a committed, well-​trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is thoughtful, helpful and compassionate. In short you won’t find a better educated, more seasoned and experienced pro in his field anywhere.
His office staff though is another story. Some of the clerical types are simply inept — charging for things that weren’t done, screwing up orders and botching schedules.
The office is overtly (so-​called) «Christian.» That’s fine of course, but can be off-​putting for some people who prefer to keep their religious beliefs and experiences private. (Too often when people start waving their born-​again-​ness around it is time to check your wallet!)
That said, orthopedic surgery performed by Dr Southard may be the best you can get these parts — plus he is a really nice guy; one who genuinely cares about his patients and the world around us.
