I visited Tahoe Toys and Treasures today for the first time. I can’t believe it was my first visit since it’s so close by! This is one of my new favorite stores in town. They have a wide selection of reasonably priced unique toys and gifts, and they wrap which is a plus! France and her mother are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my visit and am looking forward to shopping there in the future.

Two of the nicest people I have ever met own this store. They are the type of people you feel like you have known your whole life. They have a beautiful family and are long time local business owners. We heard about their vision for a toy store and have seen it come alive. The store is wonderful and they will assist you in finding anything you need. They believe in supporting the community and shopping locally to keep awesome small businesses thriving all year round. They were consistent customers of ours when we owned a café in Tahoe and the most lovely people. Check out this great Treasure! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!

Great toy store with toys, games, learning tools, hobby fun, and baby clothes. It’s easy to miss but it’s next door to the historic Snow Flake Drive-​in. I wondered over there while my family was having ice cream next door and now I want to go back when I need a kids gift or activity. It’s worth checking out.

This is such a wonderful toy store. Great prices, and a great selection for children of all ages. My 4 year old could have spent hours in here. The staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We love this store. We will most certainly be back.

Wow — what a lovely surprise to find this great toy store! Great selection of unique, educational and high quality items for kids of all ages. I had a hard time choosing just a few items for my 2 year old’s upcoming birthday. This is my new go-​to place to shop for the little ones in South Tahoe.

A bit on the pricey side but overall a sweet lady was working there and helping us. Awesome toys that are actually worth the prices. Durable stuff and original toys, stuff you don’t find everywhere. Check it out if you’re looking for something special. I found some stuff for a 3 year old but they have a good range.

What a treasure this place is! It is certainly not your average run-​of-​the-​mill toy store, and I mean that in a good way. It is filled to the brim with well-​made (think wood, not plastic) and unique toys, and they have taken care to find things that are educational and eco-​friendly as well. Mostly for kids of course, but some really cool stuff for adults too… I just bought myself a super-​cool cribbage board, the likes of which I’ve never seen anywhere else… it’s a 3D adventure trail board! The local owner is friendly and excited about her products, and it shows… the whole place just oozes fun and love! I’ll be back for more…
