OMM-MAZING yoga studio. I left here with a present mind and feeling full of life! When I lived in Houston, I practiced yoga at two other Baptiste-inspired studios. That style has helped Westernize and lead to surge of popularity in yoga down there. When I moved to Michigan, I found out Divine Yoga is the only Baptiste studio in the state. It’s 45 minutes from where I live but I had to check them out. It was well worth the drive! Our instructor Jackie was great. The theme of the week was stepping out of your comfort zone and that’s what we did. I attempted a new bind and surprised myself with success. At the end of class, Jackie helped my wife do a handstand for the first time! I love how my feelings and outlook in my physical yoga practice show up so much off my mat. If you want to have shifts in your life, I recommend Baptiste yoga and this studio for your body and mind.

I really enjoy the classes at Divine Yoga. They are quite challenging for any level, yet you will still leave with an overall sense of calm and relaxation. The room is heated to help your muscles stretch easier. It’s about 90 degrees in there, so bring a towel and be prepared to sweat buckets. I signed up for the new student special at Divine Yoga for 1 month unlimited yoga for $ 45. It gets a bit pricey after the first month($ 115 for unlimited), so I will likely purchase a class package instead.

My husband and I were in town over the holidays and thought it would be fun to try yoga while we had some time off. Divine Yoga was AMAZING!!! We loved the instructors, the studio, the neck massage at the end! It was all amazing. I would say it was great for all levels, and as beginners — we felt in very good hands. We can’t wait to come back and take classes here again.
