I was surprised to see the negative comments listed for Stone Depot. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years and the service has been nothing but amazing. My boyfriend owns a property management company, the owner (Ben) helps with his salt needs all winter when other salts suppliers are closed. No matter the time of day. we call Ben. I highly recommend Stone Depot.

Customer service was great. I called on a Tuesday and they were able to deliver by my schedule rather than their own. I got lucky and had a coupon for $ 29/yard for EcoSafe and $ 5 off delivery. Didn’t save a whole bunch but a savings is a savings.
Best price I could find in the South Lyon area. Other places were more expensive per yard and delivery charge was higher. I will definitely return in future years.

We bought firewood here a few days ago. None of it burns because it is so green. Just simmers and steams. Now I have to wait a year for it to season. They also dumped a
ton of dirt into my truck with the wood. I think they are a total ripoff.

Bad mulch, bad customer service. The mulch we bought lost all of it’s color in 3 days after some rain. The mulch looks like it has been there for 2 years. They were more concerned about how much money they were going to lose because of all the bad mulch they had over replacing what we bought. We bought poor quality mulch but they would only replace enough to sprinkle a little bit on top of the bad stuff. Really? I guess we can’t walk on it or fluff it up because it will look horrible again! These people clearly don’t care about their customers, are very argumentative, and have really bad attitudes. Don’t waste your time or money, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
