Vision Plus of South Lyon

I came in for glasses and was talked into progressive lenses. They aren’t bad but still getting used to them. I picked the «cheap» $ 80.00 frames for those. I called back and asked about having single vision lenses made for my own frames and was told it could be done for $ 75.00. not bad, so I came back and then was told that it was going to be $ 155 instead because my rx is high so I needed the thinner glass. Not happy about increase in price but did it. Had to wait two weeks because I also ordered 2 boxes of contact lenses. When I came in and was given my glasses there was a scratch on one of the lenses so had to leave and return the next day. While they are very nice here and I really like the doctor I have to say this is the priciest place I have ever gotten optical care and products from. Even with our insurance/​discount program of 20% off with VSP my total was $ 712.16.*** Unless you have stellar optical insurance you may want to consider other options.
