I made an appointment for my annual exam and the woman on the phone asked what insurance I had so I told her. The day of my check up they asked for my insurance card and was given paperwork to fill out. Upon checking out I was inconveniently told my insurance was not acceptable. Really? You tell me that AFTER my exam? What kind of practice does that? I had no choice but to pay $ 500.00 for a Pap smear. I walked out of there completely disgusted and thought what an unprofessional staff! Dr. Molina graduated from some unknown school in the Caribbean. Go figure. Lying staff members who steal from patients!!!

Dr. Molina was my ob for my pregnancy with my first born. She was very friendly and had a very nice office demeanor. Throughout my pregnancy I was happy with her, however as we all know the office visits are nothing more than chit chat and taking your blood pressure as long as the baby’s healthy and you don’t have problems. In talking with her about my delivery as we got closer to the due date I asked if there would be any chance someone other than her would deliver the baby. She said no, unless she had a planned vacation time it would for sure be her. There are 2 other docs at her office but they have separate practices and don’t rotate so I never even saw anyone else. Day of my son’s birth, a Friday, I called at 10 am that I was in early labor. I called back at 4 pm before the office closed and talked to her again to give her my status and she said call on our way. I called on our way around 7:30 pm, the answering service patched me through to her and she said the traige would update her when we got to the hospital. When I got to the hospital at triage they called her and I overheard them say the name of another doctor in the conversation but didn’t hear the whole thing. I didn’t think anything of it. When I got to the delivery room they said she couldn’t make it and another doctor would be delivering my baby. I had never met this doctor(thank god I turned out to like her) but it was stressful as I had some birth«preferences» etc and here I was at 8 cm meeting someone who I never met in my life, about to deliver the baby. Thank God the delivery etc went great. I figured Dr Molina had an emergency and thought that the experience was lucky and could have been much worse with a stranger delivering the baby, I got lucky. Dr. Molina did not contact me or follow up at all in the hospital in the 2 days after the baby was born(Sat-Sun). The morning I was checking out(Mon AM) she showed up at my room to ask about the baby and didn’t apologize or give any acknowledgment whatsoever about her absence. Literally didn’t ask about the delivery, didn’t ask about how it went with the other doctor, basically didn’t acknowledge whatsoever that she wasn’t there and talked to me 3 times then didn’t show up. She just blew in for about 1 minute and then said«see you in 6 weeks for the follow up!» Well, you can only imagine that I changed doctors and followed up with the person who actually delivered my baby and not the flake. Not that I want personal details if she had an emergency, but after 9 months of office visits with only ONE doctor, in anticipation of the birth, we had established a relationship and I put my trust in her that she would be delivering my baby, and she thought nothing of blowing me off. I can only guess it was because it was a Friday night and it was inconvenient. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I am 40 plus, and I have to say, It’s been the first time in my life, it was not a tense, then horribly cold and harsh handeling. Bravo, Bravo!!! it has changed my misery of going to the gyno, a complete normal calm experiance. Thank You!!! staff and Dr. Molina. The staff very warm, kind, and personable.
