I’ve been to this place 2 times. The 1st time I got coconut milk tea w/boba. It was just ok. This was my first time having boba and I thought it was weird. I didn’t like the flavor or consistency. The 2nd tea I had was better. It was green tea w/mango. Probably 1 of the better teas I have ever had. The teas are good but I didn’t like the atmosphere of the place.(Had a funny smell and wasn’t comfortable) I wouldn’t want to hang out there. So get your tea to go.

Must have is the Hong Kong Waffle! Very friendly staff, and a great variety of different things. Great local place I can walk to and always feel like my money is well spent.

Very excited that I discovered a new place for my afternoon treats! I also like that it’s close to UM and looks clean and tidy. I really like the selection of flavors, toppings and tea.

Very friendly staff, love their bubble tea! I can’t speak for much else though, as those are the only items I’ve tried(love the milk green tea!). However, I’ve seen what they serve and it looks really good! I hope this little place does well, I’ve seen so many businesses come and go at that location and I hope this Two Plus One Café will change that! Will be back to try more!

FIRST. This is coral gables so don’t expect parking to be amazing lol I’m a sucker for bubble tea. I think I could drink/eat it over and over again. However… The portions are pretty big, and the price is average, pretty much what you’d expect from a normal cup of bubble tea.(So there’s a pro) It was a nice experience to try, and it tasted good! But I’ve had bubble tea from Lan Pan and although their portions are smaller but the same price, I’d rather get bubble tea from there. I think now that I’ve had the best bubble tea(FORME) so far, all other bubble tea places wouldn’t get 5 starts unless they taste the best lol(is that weird?) Worth the drive, but this wouldn’t be the place I’d go if I wanted a bubble tea fix. (Rate and review has nothing to do with the taste of the bubble tea, cause in their defense it was really good. I just have had a better tasting one that’s why) Four out of five starts because it’s not the BEST bubble tea I’ve had, but it was still delicious.

Thanks to Unilocal I found a Boba Tea place five minutes away from UM campus! I had 15 minutes to spare before my lecture started and was really craving some boba tea, so what do I do? Open my Unilocal ad of course! I was directed to the closest joint and there I went. I found parking pretty fast and ran inside. The place was small, nicely decorated with some baked goods displayed at the front. The menu is to the right wall, took me a second to figure that out. I ordered the regular black milk tea with boba, total price around $ 5. The serving was large and not overly iced as I noticed in other review comments. I enjoyed the sweetness level(it’s supposed to be a treat) and the boba had a little bite to it. The service was amazing! I was greeted with a smile, she could tell I was in rush(my frazzled hair and UM bag might’ve been the giveaway). By the time I ordered and paid, the tea was ready for me to grab and go. I gotta say, that’s quite impressive. Long story short, got my boba tea fix in no time and made it to class with time to spare.

First I want to say, the customer service was superb! 5 stars for that! The boba milk tea was too sweet and not enough tea taste and way too much milk and sweetener. The boba was al dente just right. Not too soft which is good. We also ordered the Hong Kong waffles since other Unilocalers stated it was the best you can get in South Florida! Hmmm, it’s way sweet and too thick for being Hong Kong waffles. I am from Hong Kong and I grew up eating this. This cannot compare to the real Hong Kong waffle. I haven’t tried the Japanese brick toast or the shaved ice so can’t rate those. The food and drinks itself is 2 stars but customer service is a plus!

Sorry… this is not legit boba tea. We were super stoked to see a boba place open up in Miami, especially so close to campus, but we were seriously disappointed. The menu looks passable, but the reality left much to be desired. If you want sugary, watery milk this is your place. If you want boba tea, keep searching.

Had a doctors visit and before my appointment passed by for a bite to eat. The problem was that it wasn’t a bite it was a huge panini sandwich, it was lunch and dinner for me. I had the two plus one sandwich, which includes ham, avocado, bacon, mozzarella cheese and siracha mayo. It was warm, toasty and delicious. My husband had the chicken and pesto which was divine as well, I can’t really say which one was my favorite because I love them both. Can’t beat the lunch special, it includes a beverage and a bag of chips, unbeatable price.

So the main draw for me at two plus one was that they had gai dan jai aka«egg waffles» which is a street food popular in New York China town and Hong Kong. It’s a sweet snack that’s airy and light and crispy on the edges and soft and warm on the inside. A good one doesn’t need any sauces and is sweet enough on its own yet isn’t too sweet where you need something to drown out the sugar. Their flavor and parts of the waffle were close to authentic and much better than Orlando’s Quickly’s version but still wasn’t as good as other real authentic gai dan jai. We also got the shaved ice which wasn’t special. Atlanta and Orlando have better shaved ice. The one here was very tough and not shaven as thin as others. They also have very limited flavors. Green tea, mango, and lychee. The only good part was the red bean and mochi they put in it. My date didn’t agree and made me question my taste buds’ preference for beans and ice instead of beans and rice… Anyways, I give them props for trying and getting close but Miami yet still lacks a good authentic Chinese place! What does an Asian brother gotta do to get some real egg waffles down here?!

Customer service is great and the teas are delicious! My children love the jasmine tea with strawberries and bubbles. I came in to this place because my daughter wanted a fresh drink and left loving it. We always come in when on our way to a long walk. Greetings are always with a smile and if you have questions they are awesome and pleasant at accommodating your needs. Their chocolate chip cookies are big and equally delicious. If you haven’t been here you are missing out.

One of the only cafes in Miami that serves hk egg waffles and the brick toast. Highly recommend it for first time visits! Brick toast– Even though it is just toasted bread stacked and drizzled with honey and topped with ice cream, the texture and taste was made right. Not too much honey to drench the bread to a soggy form but enough to get the sweetness with the warm bread pieces. You should definitely try it out! I got the Thai chai bubble tea. First time trying it and it was really good. Wasn’t too sweet but just right to get the chai taste. I think it is a new item on the menu so ask for it when you’re feeling to try something new. I love pancakes and waffles so when I got to try the hk egg waffles, I was satisfied. Great texture and taste plus it’s a perfect snack size for anyone on the go. Prices are reasonable and get the rewards card to get points. Service was awesome! So friendly and welcoming. They made sure we were happy with our order by checking up on us many times. Overall, cute little hang out spot for anyone around the area! Definitely check it out!

The boba tea is exactly the way I remember in NorCal on international blvd! The regular black milk tea with pearls is perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

Yay yay yay! Shaved snow has made it to Miami! I no longer have to drive across the county line to get my fix! Currently Two Plus One offers 4 flavors: green tea, lychee, mango and passion fruit. Unlike other places where you get a choice of toppings here the order comes with a variety of toppings, such as mango, kiwi, strawberry, mochi and azuki beans, nicely arranged in the bowl for you. I love how there is plenty of toppings, I don’t need to ration them with each spoonful or two. I also came here for the Hong Kong waffles. Also called eggettes(gai daan tsai), they look like big bubble wraps and is the most popular street food in Hong Kong(according to Wikipedia.) They are not hard to find in California and New York, and sometimes comes in a variety of flavors like green tea, chocolate and sesame, but I’ve never seen them in Miami. Happy to say, Two Plus One gets it right! Even though the look isn’t perfect, the texture and flavor is way better than the ones I’ve tried in Orlando(at Quickly). If you look at the close up you can see how each eggette is half empty inside instead of solid like a cake(which was the case in Orlando), which is how it should be. The waffle is pluffy, a glutinous chewiness while the edge is crispy. It comes with chocolate sauce and condensed milk which you can dip into. Their bubble tea is pretty good, with a nice selection, though not as wide as Chatime’s. They don’t really do the tea in smoothie texture though. Once I asked them to blend the ice cubes in, but it came out with bites of ice crystal and not smooth enough. Price is very reasonable, $ 4 for a bubble tea, $ 5.50 for a snow. The café also serve regular American fare such as breakfast, muffins, sandwiches and salads(coming up next week.) Understandable as at this location they can’t just rely on Asian snacks to survive. The owner told me how many of their customers are new to bubble tea, and used to seeing red beans on their rice rather than ice cream. This place is a great addition to Miami, I wish them great success, and will continue to come here for my sweet cravings.

I am in LOVE with this new place! Their bubble tea are amazing, super tasty and they have tons of variety of flavors. The BEST part is that it’s not pricey at all! Btw, you can replace the sugar with honey(you have to let them know). The paninis are HUGE and extremely delicious! And again, not pricey at all. Try the dessert! You won’t find this type of dessert anywhere around Miami. I would definitely come back! Super excited with this place!

Wonderful hidden gem in Miami! You will feel welcome before you come through their door. There are samples of «Bubble Tea» outside and with a smile they explain in simple terms what this refreshing drink is. Once you come in, you discover their menu with variety of delicious Panini sandwiches and desserts. They walk you through the different flavors of teas and give you choices for non dairy items(if asked). They made me feel at home. For my innovating breakfast, I ordered«Orange Bubble Tea» with«Rainbow Jelly» and the«Perfect Morning Panini» with crispy bacon and no cheese. This was absolutely exquisite to the last bite! I ordered to go a dairy-free latte which came with a rosetta on top, and I left happily pleased ready to come back. They are friendly, helpful and make you feel comfortable all the time.

Walking around in the heat of south Florida and wanted something refreshing. My sister suggested this little tea shop that just opened. The minute I walked in I felt welcome and the staff was very friendly and eager to explain the menu. Very helpful when you come to new places. You pick a tea flavor from a variety add fruity flavor and a topping. I recommend the lychee coconut jelly. Yummy. I’m coming back next time I’m in Miami

What a perfect pairing! A hot Miami day + Lychee Bubble Tea = Happiness. It was 90 degrees out and we were ready to bust out with our water misting fans. Of course, I resorted to Unilocal to find a new place we could check out and grab a cold refreshment. Two Plus One came up on my search so we decided to go since I’m already a fan of bubble tea. They were very welcoming when we walked in and even served some water for my puppy. After they explained several items on the menu, we ordered three different teas, starting with the fruit base: lychee, hibiscus, and a jasmine green tea. We had the option of adding tapioca, lychee coconut jelly, or fruit jellies, of which we tried all three! This location has just been open for about a week. Their menu also includes panini, sandwiches and several desserts from shaved ice to a Japanese brick toast that I can’t wait to come back and try. I hope business goes well for them because I would love to see a bubble tea shop stick around!
