Dr. Buechel is world renowned and by far the most experienced and knowledgeable orthopaedic surgeon. He has taken care of me and all my family members and friends. He is still one of those doctors who cares and isn’t «knife happy» unlike so many surgeons today. He spends a lot of time with you, answers all your questions and an added bonus is that he is very well educated on nutrition. He recently has incorporated Ozone/​Oxygen therapy as an alternative treatment and is probably the only medical doctor in the area who does this. As for total joint replacements, he is the best and any reputable orthopaedic surgeon is familiar with Dr. Buechel’s reputation in the field of total joint replacement. His staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I’ve also seen his partner, Dr. Thomas Helbig who is equally a very experienced surgeon and excellent diagnostician. The combination of these two surgeons under one roof is exceptional.
