Gaslight Commons

The apartment is nice and have been living here for about 2 years. The apartments are kept clean and the interiors are nice. It’s literally a block away from the train station.
The bad:
— there are a LOT of internet outages, maybe once a week at times. Really wish something was done about this but we’re still experiencing them.
— even without outages, access is SLOW. during peak times, we’re getting less than 1mbps
— fire alarms almost once a month. just had one today which prompted this review. never really receive any information on why these happen so often.

Great location with great amenities. The building is always very clean and the staff is always very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Terrific apartment complex. I lived in the community for 4 years. After the first year I moved from an apartment that faced the courtyard to an outward facing unit facing the creek. I was on the top floor for all 4 years. Generally, this is a very well managed community. All requests for service were acted on promptly and well. The apartment comes with high-​speed internet service (a rarity) at only $ 5 additional monthly charge. While the service is not Vios, I found it adequate for my needs and I do quite a bit of streaming (although the company actually offering it has truly awful service). The apartment itself is bright, open and airy. Ceilings are very high and windows very large. The appliances and kitchen are a bit dated but they are renovating units as renters move out — so if you choose to rent here, you should have an updated unit. I do recommend trying to get a top floor unit as the building is wood (not concrete) so you will be able to hear your upstairs neighbors. Aside from that, the environment was generally quiet although that depends as always on who your specific neighbor is. Overall great!
