5 Speed Auto School

Honestly… it’s not a terrible driving school. The receptionist is friendly. The driving instructor is punctual. I had a VERY DIFFICULT time learning from the instructor. It just seemed like he was just a bad teacher I’m sorry. He tried to teach me tricks and tips to pass the driving exam and when the day came I FAILED. It was my 4^th time taking the driving exam and I did worse than I did before taking lessons. I feel like I wasted my time and money. I didn’t learn anything except tricks and tips that didn’t work. I ju st wouldn’t recommend this driving school. It’s just a lousy business. I feel bad because the people are so nice.

Don’t believe any reviews for 5 speed auto on Unilocal,yellow pages, or Google. Sergio (the driving instructor) guilts, and almost forces anyone that passes their road test to write reviews for him on yellow pages and Google. He used to do it on Unilocal too, but Unilocal has caught onto him. Obviously with him standing over your shoulder it’s hard to write an honest review, he basically forces you to write you a good review for his business. Sergio can be rude, and very unprofessional. He was late for almost every lesson I had (12 lessons), and would not give me full 45 minute lessons, due to HIS lateness. He also had me drive him around to run his errands, having me wait 10 minutes in hot he car for him. As soon as I passed my road test he started hounding me to write reviews for him, it left a sour taste in my mouth. Instead of talking to his other students that failed their test that day, it was more important for him to get reviews from me, the only person that passed in that session.

I’m not sure what these other reviews are about, but I would not recommend this driving school. I got ten lessons and the road test and five hour class, for 369. The price is reasonable but you definitely get what you pay for here, not worth the deal to fail the test. The instructor, Sergio, seemed nice at first but the conversation quickly went to a very inappropriate place, which made me very uncomfortable. I can’t say for sure, but after not being accommodating to his advances, he didn’t do a very good job of instructing me. Guys would probably be fine with him but women be warned. Avoid this place, there are much better places out there.

Let 5 speed auto teach you how to drive!!! They are highly professional and VERY friendly and I would HIGHLY recommend them! I passed my test with only 2 lessons!!!
