Ehh… Food was more spice than flavor, partial sections were cold and heated In a microwave. Service was not prompt. Price is «ok». Place is empty most of the day. Thank god I know of wayyyy better middle eastern joints around town. You should avoid this place if you’re looking for a good Indian eat.

I ordered delivery today at work and wanted to try a new place. I love Indian food and was looking to get some vegetarian curry dish. I ordered from this place and the food was very good. The one thing that annoyed me was that my food came with a salad and it was wrapped in tinfoil. It also came late but the delivery man was very apologetic. The food like I said was very good.

I ordered this food while at work. And although I read the reviews, I decided to give it a try anyway. Which I never will again. I had my usual Chicken Tikka Massala. Here, it is BLAAAAAND and what’s crazy is, they sent me a small plastic container full of the sauce and barely any chicken, no rice, no nothing. Thank God I had ordered a salad and Naan, however, the price for this salad was ridiculous ESPECIALLY since is wasn’t as described. It was just lettuce, tomato and cucumbers. The naan, NOFLAVOR. I’ll order from here again when there’s nothing else to eat and this is the ONLY place nearby that’s open and someone else is paying for my food. Only under those conditions.

Briyani was pretty flavorless. 2 pieces of chicken, not even kidding! We ordered for delivery and too 2 hrs to get to the address. White rice wss very under cooked to the point it was hard! Curry was duper oily. Sry fellow Unilocalers nothing good about the food here

The food is great but the décor is… It is value for money and the food is tasty. I’m not too confident about their hygiene.

Pros: Butter Chicken: Authentic, nice flavor, little spicy… perfect. Naan: fluffy, big, I could only eat half Samosa: chunks of potato drowning in a perfect haven of spice. Cons: delivery a little slow, but it was raining. Summary: I’m stuffed, and will order from Kabab Diner again.

When ever I’m in the mood for cheap food that will give me a bang for my buck I come here. The chicken kabobs, are made already and when an order is placed they reheat it in the microwave. Which surprisingly does not leave an after taste. The nans are made fresh to order and are very yummy. I will admit most of their food does look like its at least 2 days old and most of the curry dishes have bout an inch of oil at the top. Which really is not appealing to the eye. Quick lunch for busy people on the go!

the aloo naan was burnt and the rest of the food tasted below average and old even.

Great little restaurant. The variety and freshness of the meals available here is truly outstanding – and can you say: «Wow, what a great value!» Delicious combo platters(you can choose up to two-main courses) are only $ 7.99 at the time of this review – almost enough food for two! The quality, not the quantity, is what is most important to take away from my review. Large«kabab» rolls(a meal by itself) start at $ 2.99 – up to a 4-lamb chop platter for only $ 10.99, and lots of great options in between that price range. The service is very friendly, and the restaurant is always very clean. The process for ordering is simple. You walk up to the counter/steam table, and order from one of the nice gals. They are happy to help you – if you can’t decide between the variety of options that are visible to you. Next, you pick a seat at a table. They will call you about 5-mins later & you pick it up. It’s self-serve, once you retrieve your meal. There is ample dining space for you to eat your lunch or dinner at a table – which I find to be a perfect, and efficient, set up. You pay(cash-only) when you are finished. Just walk back up to where you ordered, and ask to pay. I have had the chicken samosa, quail w/light spices, goat shank curry, chicken with spinach(Palak), chicken meatballs w/egg, Haleem, chicken in butter sauce(Makhni), and a bite of my friend’s Tikka — which are served on basmati rice, along with fresh-made naan bread, and a little condiment salad w/a side of garlic yogurt sauce/dressing. All of dishes are very tasty and perfectly spiced. /I do not know the owner– I just travel a lot to the Courtyard Marriott & other hotels on Conduit Avenue near JFK, so I’m always looking for good eats nearby. /Enjoy!
