The King’s Hill Inn is beautiful and it’s hosts are even more wonderful. My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the Inn. The rooms are well kept and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, especially the homemade coffee cake and scones. The property is located in a great location making it possible for a day trip to Portland and access to local antique shops! I can’t wait to go back to King’s Hill Inn in the summer to see the beautiful gardens.

What a beautiful old inn and a wonderful place to have a wedding! The inn itself is well maintained with beautiful surroundings on every side. The owners were charming and gracious and very helpful as the wedding got underway. They have a beautiful wedding venue where you can have an indoor wedding if you like or an outdoor wedding if you like and the traditional little chapel if you so desire. There’s plenty of parking and I had a chance to sample some delicious baked goods the where melt in your mouth delicious! The Inn is in a very quiet location with beautiful mountains that will ensure a majestic stay. The Kings Hill Inn is romantic getaway waiting to happen for you!

This place is exactly what I wanted it to be, and the lady who runs it is so friendly and wonderful. She even went out of her way to make me a gluten-free breakfast. I’m so glad I talked my boyfriend into going an hour out of the way to stay here. We were originally looking to stay in Portland, but we couldn’t find a room for under $ 200, so I started looking in surrounding towns and I came across this place.(I read a lot of positive reviews on trip advisor.) If what you see on their website sounds like the type of place you’d like to stay and you don’t mind being out of the way I highly recommend it. The property is beautiful and it’s really quiet out there. My boyfriend I were planning to leave at nine, but we stayed until 11 and just walked around in the garden. We liked it so much we came back the next night.(We were in the Presidential Suite both nights.) And just a heads up if you book online like we did, give the inn and ring and let them know you booked a room. She takes most of her reservations by phone, and sometimes things get double booked because she’s not at her computer most of the day. We didn’t have this issue, but I just happened to call because I knew we wouldn’t be checking in on time. Obviously, you don’t have to call, but it just makes things easier for her because the place only has six rooms. If we ever find ourselves near Portland, Maine again we’ll definitely go back.

This friendly, clean and quaint inn sits on King Hill Road in South Paris(NW of Portland) Maine. The inn is run by two of the most genuine and friendly couple you’d ever find. When we arrived(after some mix-up with our suite reservation) we were quickly offered an *entire* guest house for the original price we would have paid for a two-room suite. We were treated to homemade breakfast our first and last mornings(other mornings we had meals with relatives) and tea/treats each afternoon. We will choose this inn every time from now on during our stays in southern Maine.
