Pete is a good hair cutter been going there since they opened, it was $ 15 for
A haircut then it went to $ 16 just got it cut today and price jumped to $ 19 WTF !!!
That’s a bit of a rise in cost and very cocky, maybe I shouldn’t of told him he was good.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Pete since he was first at the Middlesex Klean Kutz back in 2011, then I followed him over to South Plainfield. He always takes his time to get it right and give me the perfect cut. The other barbers are on point as well. Cecelia and Francia have cut my hair and they always do a great job. They all know the latest styles and know how to make your hair look as best as possible. The atmosphere at the shop is great too. Everyone is super friendly, pleasant, and easy to talk to. Also reasonably priced.

This barbershop Haircutter’s were so rude I sat down in the waiting waiting they ignored me for five minutes then they said are you waiting for a haircut I said yes she says well I’m ready I sat down in the chair and she said when I’m eating lunch I don’t like to be bothered, I felt very uncomfortable I left it on the way out they said by don’t come back

I have been going to Francia for almost 10 years now. Francia has always been extremely consistent, readily available when needed, and always goes above an beyond; whether your looking for a new hair style or just a minor change. The barber shop is always super friendly and always accommodating.

Worst haircut ever. It was cut all wrong. All I needed was #2 on the sides & back and transitioned to a little longer at on the top. I only got the #2 on the sides and then an uneven, long but not transitioned rest of my head. The top back was long, the front top was long, the middle top was almost right, between the top and the #2 sides I ended up with poorly cut hair. She applied conditioner to my hair mid haircut while my hair was mildly damp. Put product in my hair before finishing the haircut and then proceeded to cut more off the top afterwards. This all happened while she stood behind me between myself and the mirror. Do not go here.

Francia is amazing. My whole family knows her! Always takes the time to make it look its best. She will recommend good changes if needed. Does not push product. Owner is friendly. I drive hours to get my hair cut here. Hours are really convenient and if you get in early in the morning, you shouldn’t have to wait.

Great place; all new and clean, with vintage refurbished barber chairs. Got a great cut and shave. Been going to Middlesex for years (on again/​off again) but followed Pete to South Plainfield. Plan on continuing the patronage. And their customer appreciation in the form of service and friendliness makes the difference.
