I have to say this is one of the best customer service places I have been to. I was moving to Brooklyn for the next two years and insurance for my car was going to be ridiculous, so I got the great idea to store it in Maine until the two years were up. I took my car to the storage unit and we tried to fit it in but no luck. Chandra apologized profusely and worked with me about half an hour after their closing time(in the rain) to figure out a solution. She decided to hold onto the vehicle until one of their other units opened up, with no charge to me, and move the vehicle into the unit for me. I know, I know — this should be expected. But how often do you get excellent service when you really should? So they called a few days later(I was already in Brooklyn) to let me know my car was in a unit and I could come pick up the keys. I had to be in Maine for business again the next week, so I arrived around 7:30 because I had to be to work at 8am, not realizing they don’t open until 8am. One woman that worked there(I am sorry I don’t know her name) showed up around 7:45 am and opened the doors for me. She recognized me even though I had never met her and asked if I wanted my spare key back. I told her I needed to get my car serviced and asked if I could leave my rental car at their office until I could get a ride back to pick it up. They said it was not a problem, to leave my car as long as necessary. It is so hard to get good service now, even when you expect that you should get it. I have no complaints about Broadway Self Storage, they have amazing customer service.
