Website and one sign posted at arcade says they open at 4pm on Thursdays. Another sign and their facebook page says they open at 3pm on Thursdays. We waited in parking lot at 345−421pm until some random stranger that probably knows someone that worked there called them. He came over and told us someone would be there at 5pm. Came up from Old Orchard Beach because their arcade was closed. Very disappointing. Wish we could’ve played, had dinner plans at 630, about 15 minutes away. Not worth waiting another 37 minutes to play for only an hour.

My boyfriend and I have gone to Portland Arcade twice now and have not been disappointed! They offer a great variety of retro games that brought us both back to our childhood in the best way possible. Pinball, old school NES, super nintendo, playstation, TRON, old school pacman and other arcade style games. They also have a pool table that can be converted into an air hockey and ping pong table. The first time we went we brought our own pizza and soda. The staff are really friendly as well :) We will be back and we’ve even discussed renting out the place for a private party. If you’re looking for an affordable night out for some nostalgic fun check this place out! Oh and by the way they accept bartering as a form of payment if you have anything you’re willing to part with that they might be interested in!
