Supercuts

I started going to Supercuts when I first moved into the area, because it fits my budget and is generally fast, but I think I’m done going to this one because it’s just too hit or miss. I’ve had a couple good hair cuts, but overall the staff seem very young, possibly just out of cosmetology school, and not really experienced.
A couple years ago I went in to get my hair colored red, and was told some confusing explanation that they couldn’t bleach my hair and the dye it red, they could only glaze it??? Ended up charging me nearly $ 200 for slightly red tint that washed out after a week.
This last time I went in for a blunt bob cut, and though my stylist was very nice, she seemed confused at my request and very hesitant with her scissors. I ended up having to go back to have the stray sections she missed cleaned up and luckily they were very understanding and fixed it extremely quickly, but I think from here on out I’m going to go to a real salon.
Bottom line: if you’re just getting a trim or a buzz cut, you should be fine. For anything more complicated, it’s probably worth it to spend the money at a place with more experienced staff.

It’s difficult to review a parent company that has independent contractors like in the case of Supercuts– so I’ll focus on my stylist Paige.
Paige is: attentive, skilled, and (most importantly) an incredible interpreter of my (pitifully) lacking grasp of style vernacular. I go in, ask her to minimize my cow licks and make it shorter and she nails it every time (plus it takes maybe ten minutes). I’m so happy to have found someone close by (that I can walk into) that speaks my language with services that only cost 16.95 before tip. Awesome.

Not much to say about getting a buzz-​cut. It was super fast and the people were friendly. I guess its hard to mess up a #2 buzz-​cut

I’ve been here twice. The first time I got a woman who took her time and was nice to chat with. She did a good job on the haircut. Nothing amazing, but fine.
The second time I got a different person, and she was not as friendly and rushed though the cut. It turned out sloppy and not to my standards.
I may go again at some point because it’s convenient to my house, but there are better places to get a haircut in the area for a comparable price.
