What an awesome find! My chopping knife has been in desperate need of sharpening. Saw this service referenced in the newspaper then checked out his website… Hey! They do sharpening at Whole Foods every two weeks!
Brought my knife, shopped, came back and got my sharrrrrp knife back — $ 5! Friendly and fast and convenient. And damn, cutting veggies is MUCH easier and safer now. Love that this guy is out there!

Wicked Sharp is a treasure! We are very heavy users of our knives and proper sharpening is a must. I have had some pretty bad experiences in the past at other places with too much steel being removed, etc. Wicked Sharp does it the right way with great results.
In addition to my knives, including serrated knives which the grinder places don’t do, I had my garden machete sharpened as well. Turns out they ship dull for safety which I didn’t know.
Super convenient because you can drop off at their shop anytime with quick turnaround time. They also attend various farmers markets around the area.
This is the kind of local skill and trade that you may not realize you even need until you try it yourself and end up with what feels like brand new knives. Happy Cooking!
