I give this 5 stars solely bc their facialist Maria is the absolute best. She is professional, courteous, and man can she do wonders for your skin! It’s about $ 85 for a facial which is pricey. They would generate more business if they offered better prices. Make sure you ask for Maria for the facial she is the best at the spa, hands down.

So after searching for spa around central jersey, i booked an appt with the spa at little river. When i went in, they did not exactly know who will be doing my facial. So they asked a lady who just started with the Spa to do it. Firstly she had no idea she had facial in her books. She was unprepared and for 15 min she was in and out constantly getting prepped for the facial. 15 min gone on a 50 min facial. She did not inspect my skin or put on mask that is for normal to dry skin. 30 min down facial was over. In the past when i walk out of a facial my face would be moisturized and glowing. This time it was dry like parchment. Had to ask the front desk lady for some moisturizer. What a waste of money. Will not go there. Save your time and money getting services from people who are either too poor at their jobs or just plain indifferent to the service they provide.

I just had the BEST facial ever !! If I say Maria is amazing, that would be under estimating it !! I take extreme care of my skin and had been suffering from painful windburn for the passed two weeks. Maria gave me a phenomenal hydrating facial, I walked out of the spa feeling refreshed and sooo moisturized !! You need to go visit them !!

Great service but the WORSTPEDICUREEVER! Short version, DONTBOOKANAPPOINTMENTWITH the woman name beginning wit SUS(don’t want to ruin her completely)!!! But def Book with Heidi!!! Story: We came a group of 5 girls and the receptionist Kristen was more than helpful when setting up our reservation and allowing us to bring wine and snacks during our visit. Our party was broken up; 2 for pedis(since they only have 2 chairs) n the other 3 for body massages, then there would be a swap. The woman who was performing my pedicure seemed like she popped one too many quaaludes and was definitely floatin around, gone three sheets to the wind. She would file a nail of mine in a singular spot for at least 60secs rubbing my skin to no end! If u have ever had a sibling, you know how annoying it can’t get when they keep poking you in the same spot over and over where your body automatically wants to react with a punch or swift kick to the face so it will stop that’s what was happening to my feet with this woman! My mother n I started our pedi session at the same time, and while she was getting a lovely scrub and foot massage from Angie(who was incredibly sweet n professional), my feet were un massaged, getting pruned in luke warm water while the pedicurist scratched, poked n compulsively irritate my toes with a nail filer, only stopping to move things about on her station or hold a conversation about her 32 yrs old boyfriend n how disgusting she thinks quiche is… What turned it all around for me was my masseuse Heidi who was by far the best massage I have had in years! I slipped out an accidental complaint to her ab my pedicure while she was sending me into 7th heaven with her amazing skills of working out the enormous kinks in my body. She did a phenomenal job. I later found out she is the director of the place oops but said she was gonna take care of the price for the pedicure(only just realizing when I got home she didn’t I will be following up on that) Conclusion: Even though I have scratches on my leg from that horrific pedicure n that burn like bloody murder!, Heidi made up for it and I rebooked an appointment wit her for next month

I finally had the chance to experience The Spa at Little River this past weekend, and I can say that I will definitely be returning! This is a beautiful and charming establishment, under new ownership(and you can tell). From the outside, it looks like a mansion and the grounds are gorgeous, and relaxing. The interior is beautiful, elegant and homey at the same time. The staff was the most personable and welcoming that I’ve ever experienced. They truly take the time to make their clients feel special and welcomed by catering to you. I left feeling like I’ve known everyone for years! I went in for a massage, manicure and pedicure. The masseuse tailored my experience and was attentive to my needs. The manicure/pedicure was very relaxing. You can tell that the owner put a lot of TLC into the place. It isn’t your typical salon. Prices are great and I got exactly what I wanted out of my spa day. The Spa at Little River is perfect for any services, social or corporate events/gatherings. The grounds in the back are a perfect backdrop for a bachelorette beauty day or bridal shower. Many thanks to the entire staff for a fabulous«Mommy and me» day. I will definitely be returning to this gem!

PLEASEREADTHISBEFOREGOING… This place does not deserve a 4 or a 5. I wish there was a — 5 stars. Honestly it was bad. Real Bad. Came here as a couple facial massage for 1 hr. Pretty expensive with tips and it wasn’t worth it. The lady Mila was pretty bad. Went gone missing for almost 15 minutes. Where did she go??? Then finish 10 minutes before the hour. Come on. For a deep cleansing facials, no deep cleansing here. just a bunch of lotion on the face. Waste of MONEY. Will NOT go back. Everyone should read this message. This salon spa is bad. And trust me. I don’t know much about facial, but my fiancé has taken me to a few for me to know. This is the worse.

Upon entering large Victorian location you’re pleasantly surprised by a beautiful holiday setting. The receptionist is very nice and professional. My aesthetician was mila. She’s very nice and professional though I felt she spent a little too much time outside of the room than have previously experienced at other facials. The nice part was no pushing of product. If I had asked I’m sure recommendations would have been made. It’s a beautiful local comfortable choice for facials and other spa essentials.

My hair looks great! After years of searching for a good colorist and hair dresser, I have found it. The best hi lights, low lights and haircut that I have had in years. You have got to try Linda at the Spa at Little River. The Spa is luxurious and a place where you truly feel pampered.
