Capital Building Maintenance

Bad experience with this company. They were referred to us by our building manager to polish our desks, which had gotten a little scuffed up in the 5 years since we bought them. They did a terrible job (I put pledge on one of our desks and did a better job in 3 mins) and this was a real PITA because we needed to clear all equipment from surfaces, which was expensive (a lot of heavy office equipment and needed to hire staff to do it) and took us down for ~ 1 day. When I complained (they were immediately responsive, but unhelpful) they basically said ‘sorry’ — refunded us our $ 300, but refused to do the job properly and left us high and dry. It was a real inconvenience and I think it suggests that they’re generally not really committed to doing a good job on anything. Will never use again.
