Incredible! I just drove by and his gas prices are over $ 5!!! What a scam! Is this business owner taking advantage of his own neighborhood??? Very sad. No one should buy gas here!

Chico has been my mechanic for over 10 years. Never inflates prices, super honest and accommodating. My entire family goes to him now. Always beats quotes from other shops (I always call Chico when friends are getting ripped off by other shops so they know what the cost should be)

Chico will take 30 seconds to examine your vehicle and come up with a solution, he is some kind of wizard mechanic. He is not your stereotypical mechanic/​maintenance guy that will take advantage of your situation. He will assess and address the problems and give it to you straight. If you spend a grip of money with him, you would probably have spent a good amount more else where.
…and come on no one gets gas here anymore, there’s a shell station down the street!

This place place is meant for the mechanic service. Chico does a great job on my car and is honest about everything. Will get any job done fast and correctly. Very knowledgable in fixing cars! Came here about 5 times for my car troubles.

He has the highest gas prices in the entire Bay Area — what a rip off plus he threatened to «break your camera» of a reporter from CBS if Sugerman didn’t go away — highly recommend boycotting this ass and I hope Superman calls the cops.

I’ve been going to Chico’s for several years now and I’m very happy with his service and pricing. He’s a very honest mechanic and reasonable. It’s hard to find someone like Chico these days. I highly recommend him for any car issue. Also, he’s fast and reliable, he always deliver what he promised. Great guy!

There are not enough good things to say about Chico. He was recommended by a colleague who knows a ton about cars and comes over from Berkeley: he won’t trust his car to anyone else. We now feel the same. Our only problem with Chico is that he under-​charges us and we don’t know how he stays in business!

Alternator died on a Friday evening. Was recommended here by a tow company as a good, local shop that is open in the evenings and weekends.
Dropped off the car, and he gave me a very straightforward, honest quote (which was lower than what I was quoted for an alternator at other highly-​rated places). Expecting there to be a few days’ wait for the part to arrive and everything to be ready, I rolled out of bed the very next morning to a message from Chico, saying that the car was ready.
Headed down to pick up the car, and the price was exactly what he quoted. Everything in the car was exactly as I had left it.
Honest, straightforward, local shop. Will definitely come back if I need more service in the future.

Chico’s the man! I’ve been using him for years. One time my 92 miata kept on cutting in and out of power. After getting many quotes, I asked Chico. He took a look at it and had it back to me for $ 40 dollars-​fixed! Now, he probably won’t do that for anyone, but his best customers’ wink wink. Other shops were charging me 300 – 400 dollars to find and repair the electrical shortage. I bring every car I’ve owned and will continue to.

Chico was highly recommended by my friend, who knows about cars. I also got great reviews from my fellow bus rider who lives in the area.
Chico is a very honest shop. We go there for every car mechanical problem and they always fix the cars back to great running conditions. They fix our cars in a very timely manner and often accommodates my work schedule.
The pricing is very reasonable, unlike other car shops that try to get us to fix things that are not broken.

We were driving down from SF to the south-​bay when our car started to heat up. Luckily we found Chico’s Service Station open on a Sat afternoon. They quickly swapped in a new thermostat in an hour and at a very reasonable price.
I can say enough about how good & reliable these guys are!

This is my local fill-​up!!! They renovated the place a couple of years and it’s really nice. Only 4-​stations, but it’s usually not a problem getting once since it’s not in a high traffic area. Like most service stations, they also do car repairs.
I like them cause they really did a great job renovated that station. It may not sound like a big deal. But compared to the dump that was there before, I totally love ‘em. Their gas pricing is amazingly competitive especially when you consider rival gas stations 2 blocks away charging an extra 20 cents a gallon!
Owners are super friendly and always give me a smile and wave when I show up. Support your locals!
