This is my favorite Deli, I have a sandwich anywhere from 1 – 3 times a week. They use Boar’s Head Meat, Raymond’s bread and the best garlic spread. My favorite is Pastrami hot with provolone cheese and bacon with Mayo, garlic spread, pickles on toasted Dutch Crunch.
If you went a good sandwich and kind service please visit the Friends Market Deli.

Such a friendly local market. They have wonderful service and offer delicious sandwiches that are fresh with great prices. It’s hard to find a good sandwich spot in that area. I highly recommend it.

Hole in the wall place. I was super skeptical, even after placing my order. Used the Unilocal check in to get a free pop.
I ordered 2 items, one wrap and one sandwich. Both were quite good! Prices in the photos have been increased slightly but still a good deal. These things were packed with meat and other fixin’s.
Thanks for leading me here Unilocalers! I was starving after walking cemeteries all day and this sure hit the spot and more. These were huge!

I had a Dr. appt at Kaiser — I’m expecting a baby so I was hangry!
I was feenin for a sandwich and this place was the closest to me. I ordered the 49er which was pastrami and bacon and garlic spread. It was HELLA good. Everything was fresh and the lady who made my sandwich was very nice as well.
I’d definitely come back again — their garlic spread was delicious :)

This place is amazing. It’s a little convenience store in a residential neighborhood in south san francisco. I ordered a toasted smoked turkey, provolone, veggies, avocado, with garlic sauce on Dutch crunch bread. The avocado is $ 1 more but it is a generous portion. The garlic sauce was $ 0.50 more and worth it. It was very garlicky! The price is right for a sandwich of such quality and large size. I couldn’t finish the sandwich and ate the rest the next day. The bread does get soggy so if you can’t finish one by yourself, share with a friend!

I was getting gas at Costco and was craving a sandwich. Came across this nearby market and ordered a yummy ham, salami, american cheese on wheat! Toasted was an option but I got it cold. I checked in and got a free coffee too! Great and friendly service, and perfect big sized wheat toast sandwich for me!

My first time here. It is yummy! The sandwich was every bit that the people described. Good amount of meat, fresh bread, free drink if you check in on Unilocal and nice service. Had the «sunset» and it had a boars head sticker on the wrap!

What makes a fine sandwich eating experience?
Good quality meat. Boars head. Need I say more.
Good bread. Though I was a bit skeptical about fresh bread on a Sunday, I ordered a hard sourdough. Crispy and chewy!
Fresh fixin’s. Shredded lettuce crisp. Avocado creamy and yellow/​green.
Easy to obtain. No circling the black KC for 30 minutes, then wait in line another hour? Heck no. Parked in lot and walked right up to counter.
But, thus place is out of the way in a SSF neighborhood. Not close to anything.
OK. 4.5 stars if I could.
If I am anywhere nearby, I will return.
I ordered a Sunset.
Turkey, bacon, lettuce, pro alone, avocado, tomato, pesto. They should call it a Home Run!

Wow! My son wanted to try out their sandwiches and LOVED it! Super nice people and friendly. He ordered the SF Dynasty and truly enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable too,

If you ever want a good tasting sandwich this is the place to go. Price is great and meat is very good quality. The workers there are very nice and always have friendly conversations with you. Friends Market is really a Friends Market!

Five stars for the super nice people that work here. I usually stop for lottery tickets and snacks before heading to work. They are always friendly and cheerful.
Two stars for the sandwiches (4) that were made on stale sourdough rolls that were too large for the amount of meat and toppings. The were so stale, the lady had a hard time cutting through them. I would have chose another type of bread had I known.
Zero stars for the curtained off ‘adult area’ next to the deli counter. This store is located in a residential area, two blocks from elementary and middle schools. I don’t think this is the appropriate place for a porn viewing booth.
I’ll continue to go for the friendly morning greetings and to buy my lottery tickets.

They make the best sandwiches in the Bay Area. Trust me I know my food, and I used to think that ikes place have the best sandwiches but then my friend took me to this neighborhood liquor store. I was surprised to see how good their sandwiches are. They use Boars head meat and cheese and the names of their sandwiches are pretty funny too.
I would highly recommend trying out their sandwiches.

Super friendly Indian people. I walked in there and the store was hella clean, and the cashier was really friendly.
Surprisingly insaw a Deli in the store, and it smelled so good. I couldnt resist myself so i ordered 2 sandwiches and THEY WERE THE BEST SANDWICHES I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Would reccomend to try it atleast once.

Best. Sandwiches. Ever.
The people there are always friendly and willing to help.
The secret sauce is definitely necessary to get on the sandwiches and the alcohol is reasonably priced. I always go to prepare to pre game.
